The morning was full of rush. Taylor and Tyler where practically flying all over the place to get ready,

It was their long awaited 16th birthday, and as you can imagine they had plans throughout the whole day.

Mariana, the twin's mother, had planned to have Taylor's hair done, and wanted to pick up Tyler's suit from the tailor.

The twins always made it apart of their birthday traditions to dress up as if whatever event was the last one of their lives.So, going out to get some ice cream, than come back to their home to hang out with the group, obviously called for drastic measures when it came to dressing up.

Taylor's P.O.V

Mom had insisted to get my nails and hair done. Obviously, I'm not complaining, but it's hard to just wait around when so much stuff is going on. The appointment was at 1:30pm and I wasn't even aloud to try on my dress!well not until I was fully, 100% ready to go out—granted i made up that rule, but that doesn't matter!

Last year for my quinceañera, we went all out. All of my friends—old friends, got to come! Tyler obviously invited his to. But it was such a fun time, when everything was alright, and the only thing I had to worry about was homework, I think I took those times for granted.

It's not like I'm disappointed with my life right now! I absolutely love my friends. I just think today might be a little different than every birthday before. And I am completely fine with that.

Eventually when the time came for my appointment,I was already beaming with excitement, I love getting dressed up all fancy. I think that's because I don't get to do it often, but I'm glad I'll be doing it with the rest of my friends.

Tyler and I convinced everybody to get dressed expensive with us—well, not so much as expensive but.. I don't know the word..better than put together I guess?? Not Important!

By the time I had my hair finished, I felt my phone blowing up with 'happy birthdays' from the group chat. With questions of when we would all meet up. The plan was, go to a local ice cream parlor, than come back to are house and just enjoy whatever odd party favors me and Tyler had planned.

I mean what better to celebrate your birthday than going to an ice cream shop dressed like it was the met gala?

After Taylor and mom came home, I finally got my suit.

I know Taylor is really big about are birthday, and I gotta admit. It's kinda fun, I was never big on others birthdays, but I like to treat me and Taylor's birthday like it's more hers than mine, so seeing her this happy is worth it.

Although it's not all bad hanging out with the people you enjoy being around.
