Emma's POV
Still at orientation...
I laughed slightly and tried to act like I didn't remember him.
We eventually got everything picked up and I stuck out my hand,"Thank you, and I don't think I caught your name."
He shook my hand slowly and said,"Oh, ya like you don't remember me Emma." "Shit..." I whispered under my breath.
"Didn't want to see me did you?"
I shook my head angrily and said,"Well you left me, why would I want to see you?!" Oh my god he can't come over, what if he found out about Henry.
I brushed him away and said,"I have to get back home to..."
Shoot I shouldn't have said that. Maybe he didn't hear me.
"Oh... I understand, you must have another boyfriend, or a husband, kids?"
"Oh no, I just meant my uh... cat."
"Oh... right okay your "cat"." he said putting up air quotes. "How bout' you just come out to dinner with me."
"I don't think that's a good idea..." I said nervously.
"Here's the deal, I will go to the little diner across the street, Granny's, at 6:30 tonight... and if you show up, you show up, if you don't, well then I guess you don't care about me anymore."He smirked and said,"Hope to see you there."
He walked away and I just stood there speechless.
Did he really just ask me on a date.
I shook my head knowing I wouldn't go and walked out to my car.
