Chapter 11

Emma's POV 

My heart drops as I see him walk up to the podium. He turns his head to the audience and grabs his notes from his pocket.

"Hello everyo-" he stops suddenly as his eyes meet mine. 

Crap, shit, crap, shit, crap.

He coughs slightly and continues speaking.

Wait maybe he didn't even see me.

Oh shut up Emma of course he saw you.

I look down at my hands as he continues speaking.

About 30 minutes later, the speakers are done speaking and we break off into separate groups to take tours of the campus.

I get in a group with no one special.

Suddenly I see a woman across the way with short black hair, pale skin, and blue eyes.

Our eyes meet and she smiles slightly as I smile back at her.

The tour starts and we end up walking next to each other.

"Hey, I'm Emma."

"Hi, Mary." she says sweetly.

"So, are you starting college later then too?" Mary asks.

"Yep, I didn't get a good childhood, and its a miracle I actually got accepted into here.

 She smiles slightly and says,"I started college a while ago, but then I met the love of my life, and one of us had to make money for the family, so I took the sacrifice."

"Well at least you've found love," I Joke,"What's his name?"

"David, he's very sweet and now a police officer."

"He sounds nice."

We continue the tour and finally get back to the room we started in.

"Okay be sure to give me a call, and maybe we could have a lady's night out sometime."Mary says to me handing me her phone number and heading out the door.

I wave and smile as I realize this might be an actual friend.

I turn around to get some lemonade from the back. I pour myself a glass and grab a cookie as well. I'm about to grab a napkin when somehow I manage to tip over the big tray of cookies all over the floor.

I shake my head and swear under my breath, ugh I'm such a klutz. I set my lemonade on the table as I kneel down and start cleaning it up.

Someone rolls a trash can over to me and starts to kneel down as well, giggling silently.

"It's not my fault it sorta just fe-"

I look up from the floor and at the face in front of me and realize it's Neal.

"Just like always, you are adorably clumsy."

Alright guys, So as you can see we have talked with three new characters in this chapter.

Mary margaret(Snow white) , David (Prince charming), And neal. I hope everyone enjoyed it. And also this is an AU and not in storybrooke so no magic. Mary and David and just going to be friends with Emma, not magical parents somehow. So I hope everyone likes it!
