Chapter 6

Emma's POV

I look Killian in the eyes and all I can see is happiness draining away from my face.

"I'm-I'm sorry it's just that Henry's gonna be home soon, I'm still slightly sick, and we just started going out."

"No I fully understand." He says as he starts buttoning his shirt up.

"It's probably for the best anyways, right." I say nervously and quietly.

"Of, course it is." He says.

"Well do you wanna turn the tv on agin and watch more breaking bad."

"When did we turn in off." He chuckles.

"I don't know must've accidentally hit the button." I laugh

We turn it back on and I can feel my temperature start coming back. I grab the blanket and wrap myself in it again.

"Come here." He says quietly.

I obey like a dog and I lay my head on his chest.

"Thankyou for understanding." I say as I start to nod off.

The last thing I remember is him kissing my forehead and start stroking my hair.

1 hour later

I jump up and hit my head on Killian's chin when I hear the door start to open.

"Ouch." Killian's exclaims.

"Sorry, sorry." I say as henry comes in the door.

I get up to get some ice and yell." So how was school kid."

"Good..." He says awkwardly.

He rushes in and says," you know there is a strange man on our couch right?"

"Of course I do."

"Is this the guy you went on a date with the other day."

I blush and henry smile.

"I like him already he seems nice."

"Well then that's good because I like him too." I say with a smile
