Emma's POV(still)
On orientation day... but not at orientation

A few hours have passed and Henry and I have been having a 'Chopped' marathon.

I look at my phone and realize it's already 5:50. I shake my head and think about the date with Neal.

I quickly grab my phone and head to the other room.

"Where are you going??" Henry yells from the other room.

"Gotta make a call I'll be out in a second."

I get into my room and close the door

"Hey." I say.

"Oh hey Emma."Mary says.

"I need advice."

"Alright."

"This is going to get very complicated and you're going to learn a lot more about me right now." I say nervously.

"Thats fine..."

I explain to her about me seeing Neal and about how he's Henry's father. I take a deep breath and tell her about when he left me and I ended up going to jail not him. And finally the fact I lied to Henry about his father.

"Alright..." she says obviously thinking about what to say next.

"I know it's a lot to take in, but I hope you don't think any different of me."

"Oh no no no I won't ." She says sweetly.

"I would be honest with Henry and Neal. Go out with him and if things go well then tell Neal and Henry."she said after a couple seconds of silence.

"Okay sure, I'll do it. Thanks a lot Mary, I'll talk to you later." "Okay bye, and your welcome."
I hang up and head to my closet.
What to wear what to wear.

I end up picking out a tight black dress that flows out on the bottom. This will be perfect because it show off my curves, but not TOO much.

I put on some makeup, pick out a pair of burgundy flats, and my usual denim across body purse.

I walk out to Henry at about 5:20. He's staring at his phone and did't notice me come in.

"Alright kid, I shouldn't be out too late, but who knows. It can range anywhere from 10-12. You can get your own food, nothing too dangerous and be sure to go to bed at a reasonable time, or stay up for me if you want."

He says ,"Alright mom." without looking up from his phone. "Do I look good?" I say nervously.
"Ya fine." he says still not looking up from his phone. "Henry seriously."I whine.
