Chapter 7

Emma's POV

I chuckle slightly as Henry says,"I'm gonna be in my room if you need me."

I nod slightly and say,"Remember to get all your homework done."

"Ya, Ya I know."

I roll my eyes as I get into the freezer and pull out an ice pack. I rush into the living and hand Killian the ice pack. 

"Again, I am sorry." I say as I bat my eyelashes

Killian starts bursting out laughing as I realize my face is really hot and I am probably blushing. 

I playfully nudge him and say,"Oh just shut up."

He giggles and says,"I love you." his smile quickly goes away as he realizes what he just said.

"Wait what did you just s-."

"I said I love that about you." he interrupts. "I have to go, I forgot I have to um, go shop for my dogs... brother's... owner." he stutters. 

He quickly stands up and grabs his leather coat off of the coach and starts to head to the door. 

"No, no, no please don't leave. It's alright people make mistakes like that." I grab his wrist and look at his eyes. 

He looks away and down at my hand holding onto his wrist. 

He opens his mouth, closes it, pulls away from hand, and heads out the door. 

I rush to the door and he slams it in my face. That jerk! Well... it's sort of endearing. Suddenly a bunch of question come rushing into my head. 

What if he actually loves me already? I mean I do, but I'm not sure it's love yet, like a crush. 

Oh god, what is it going to be like on Monday? It will be so awkward, I need to switch out of his class. No I won't I will just make it like it is an actual student teacher realationship. 

"MOM," I here Henry say form the other room. 

I walk into his room and ask,"What, what do you possibly need that makes you scream like that."

"Well I called you like five other times."

"Oh, sorry," I mutter. "What do you need."

"Three questions 1, did your date leave, 2, what's his name, 3, whats for dinner." he says.

"Three answers, 1, Yes, 2, Killian, 3, Tacos." I say playfully.

"Thanks mom," He scoffs and giggles.

"Why do you even need to know who he is and what his name is?" I ask him 

"We mom that is a good question, and the answer is, I want to know about my mom's dating life because who knows one of them could be the one" he says and then smirks. 

"Woah, woah woah." I say in shock. "Don't start talking about marriage kid, i just started dating him, and to be honest I don't think it's going to work anyways after what just happened."

"What happened." Henry mutters sadly.

"Oh. you don't need to know, none of your business, too young." I say strictly.

"Fine." He says playfully. There's a slight silence and then he says," Get on those tacos.. I'm hungry."

"Okay, okay." I say as I walk out of his room.
