I OPEN my eyes. The light from the living room pools into my eyes. My hand covers my face and I run my fingers through my hair.
Then I remember last night. Me and Iris under the stars. I am so glad Gracie took a photo of us. I sit my body up and look around. Assessing my surroundings, Brady and Xochitl are sleeping on the floor. Cal and Austin are sleeping on the couch opposite from me. And Iris... isn't here?
