third pov

IRIS holds a picture in her hand, a polaroid picture. She smiles to herself as she scans the film in her hand. In front of her was a picture of her and Connor. A photo they had taken at Connor's spot. But there was something she hadn't realized before ─ Connor wasn't looking at the camera, he was staring at Iris. Iris's smile grows even bigger after noticing this. Not that she cares how Connor looks at her...or whatever.

"Irissss" Cal bursts through the girl's door scaring her. Iris turns around and drops the photo. "Sorry..do you know where Xochitl went?" "Um, I think she's out with Brady or something" she says before squating to pick the picture up. But before she could, Cal bent down and grabbed it. Once he stood up, he fully scanned the picture. "I knew it!"

"What? What are you talking about?"

"You and Connor are dating" Cal pushed. "No, no. We're uh just friends" Iris said uncertain. "Are you sure? I see you guys looking at each other and you guys hung out yesterday-" "Nope. Just friends." "Alrighty...anyway I'm going out to get food. You want?" Cal says while handing her the polaroid. "Not hungry, just matcha" Iris flashes a small smile to Cal, who rolls his eyes. "Fine" is the last thing he said before he shut the door.
