iris's pov

HOLY shit. I almost just kissed Connor. Almost.

As much as I love my brother, that was probably the worst time he could've came home. I was this close to kissing him. I know you can't see me but I'm holding my fingers. Whatever.

I'm standing here, eyes wide open, and I got one thing stuck on my mind. That one thing is Connor Noon.

MAN. I lean against the island awkwardly. Should I leave? Should I have tried to kiss her? I don't even think and I blurt out, "I think I'm gonna head out."

Now why the hell would I say that. The rain is getting heavier, I can hear it. "Cool, see you dude" Cal says with a cookie still in his mouth. I quickly glance at Iris and she looks defeated. "I'll see you later Iris" I give her a small smile.

Leaving the kitchen, I walk over to my shoes and lace them. I open the door and close it behind me. If it weren't for the small porch roof above my head, I would've been soaked.

I quickly run to my car, unlock it, and sit into my car. I sigh heavily and lay my head on my steering wheel. I then sulk back into the driver's seat.

God, all I can think about is her.

She's so perfect. Her eyes were glimmering when I touched her. Her lips were so... I can't even describe her. In the time we spent, I learned so many things about her.

I found out that her favorite flowers are pink lillies. That is something I can work with, I have an idea.

My phone buzzes.
