"Aizawa, wake up. It's important." All Might said frantically when he made it back inside the barn.
"What, what is it All Might?" Aizawa asked sleepily as he slowly sat up.
"Are you awake?"
"As awake as I can be. Now what's so important?"
"I think we're being watched. I'm not sure by who yet though." All might said as he finally managed to calm down.
Aizawa looked at him, confused and sighed. "What do you mean you think we're being watched?"
All Might sighed and showed him the metal sign.
"I found this in the bushes outside the barn. A part of me wants to believe it's just coincidence but I don't really believe it is." All Might explained.
"That's strange. This wasn't here when we did a sweep of the area. I made sure the students checked all the bushes and trees and none of them saw anything." Aizawa said in utter confusion.
"That must mean that whoever planted this had to have done it while we were all in here talking. That also means that they're not too far away from here and they've been watching our every move for who knows how long. These kids are not safe."
"I know they're not All Might. I just can't seem to figure out who would be stalking us and why. Like, what's their motive? Why does it seem like they're trying to scare us?" Aizawa asked as he continued to stare at the sign.
"You know it could be the league of villains." All Might said hesitantly.
Aizawa snapped his head towards him in shock. "You can't really think that can you? There's no way it's the league."
"It would make sense. Besides, it would be the only logical explanation. They know who we are and they know most of our weaknesses. I bet they're trying to scare us so we fall out of line." All Might theorized.
"But why though? They don't have a reason to go after heroes anymore since the entire societal system has been destroyed. They would have to have a completely different motive now. Not to mention it would make no sense that they're choosing to attack us now when they've left us alone for a whole month without making a move."
All Might looked at the sign and then back at Aizawa. "I don't know what their current motive would be or if it even is the league that's behind this. However, it's the only lead we really have and we're going to have to be a lot more careful from now on if we want to keep these kids safe."
Aizawa sighed and looked around at his students who were all sleeping peacefully. "I know we do. We also need to figure out who's behind this and why so we can put an end to it. I want these kids to be able to live their lives, not just survive. It's what they deserve."
"I know how you feel."
The two then went silent and didn't say anything else.
Aizawa clenched his fists around the sign and stood up. "I'm gonna take over patrol for right now and try to find a place for this where the kids can't find it. The last thing I need them to do is worry. We can explain everything to them once we get more evidence that we're actually being watched and you should get some rest. You need it."
All Might nodded his head and laid down as Aizawa cautiously made his way outside the barn.
Things like this only started happening once Midoriya showed up. I don't want to say that his appearance is what's causing them to act but I can't think of anything else that would've caused it. Nothing else makes sense. Then again, the whole thing in general makes no sense. If it really is the league, why are they coming after my students? They no longer have a reason to since our goal is no longer to hunt them down and put them in prison. There has to be another motive they're going off of. But what is it?
