The Fan

You have been a fan of archie since watching his new films, gran turismo, saltburn. You loved reading imagines, watching edits, anything really.

You really loved him as an actor. One day you were scrolling through Instagram and you noticed he posted a story.

"What's 4+4?"

You responded to the story, laughing to yourself.
"As if he's actually gonna see it y/n" you mumbled to yourself, before clicking off the app. Unlike many, you actually had a life outside of social media.

You went on to do some of your favorite hobbies, bake some cookies, and when you came back to your room you watched a movie or two. In the middle of the night a notification woke you up.

You looked at your phone seeing Archie's name.
"These fuckin fan accounts" you groaned, tossing your phone before you fell back asleep.(😭)

In the morning you had some breakfast before looking back on Instagram. You dropped the bowl of fruit you were eating.
"Holy...fucking-"

"What the fuck" You said opening the dm. He responded.
"8... what's 5+5?"

You were happy but confused? You liked his message. You were overthinking it.

"Erm 10...?"

You retyped and deleted the message like 10 times before sticking to it.

"Yeah, that's what you are"

God he's so corny but you love it.

"Well thank you Archie, i love your work"

This time he took a while to respond. You spent the whole day waiting besides your phone. Eventually you gave up. He finally texted you, causing you to spring up.

"How about you come see my work in real time?"

....

Is this... real?

"What are you saying?"

"You know, me you, a date perhaps"

"Are you seriously asking... me on a date. A fan"

"Well does that make you any different than a ...non fan?"

You were blushing, there's no way this is real life.
"How do i know this is not some scam"

You texted him, giggling to yourself. You knew it was too good to be true. He was probably hacked. Archie sent a selfie of himself, one you never seen before.

"Is this convincing enough?" He even sounds British through texts(😭)

"Its pretty convincing i will admit"

You were nervous but you decided to send one back. Archie was probably going bonkers seeing that photo of you.

"I'm going to fly you out..."
