As Jaybe stepped through the cafeteria doors, her eyes widened, mostly in shock.
The cafeteria was massive! So many tables and people! People..
Jaybe looked down at Mei who seemed a little bit frighten by the amount of people.
"Hey," Jaybe whispered "it's gonna be okay just hold on to me, okay?"
Mei nodded and held onto Jaybes arm.
"Hmm.. I think there should be a table over there." Marina said, dragging hers friends to a empty table, well almost empty.
There at the table was Hayda and Loti, and another girl with a eye patch and grey hair that matched her eyes.
"Excuse me, can we sit with y'all?" Marina asked and Jaybe just stared at her in shock and confusion.
"Marina, we could've sat on the end of the table so you didn't have to ask!" Jaybe mumbles.
"I wanna meet new people! If don't wanna go sit somewhere else!" Marina protested as she looked back at the girls sitting down.
"Oh of course you can!" The girl with Grey hair said. Marina sits down next to her and turns to look at Jaybe and Mei.
"Well?" Marina asked.
"Fine.." Jaybe finally gave in.
"I'm Marina, whats your guys names?"
"I'm Hayda, but everyone calls me the most fantastic and fun person in the world!"
"Replace fun and fantastic with chaotic and menacing." Loti mumbled.
Hayda gasped. Causing Loti to give her that face again.
"I'm Ivy, don't mind them." The grey haired girl said.
Ivy rose.
Jaybe had a class with her last year. Oh but what happened to her eye?
"And you kind lady's in the corner? What's y'all names?" Hayda asked in a British accent.
"I'm Jaybe. This is Mei. Nice to meet you.. "
Loti looked up at Jaybe with wide eyes then back down at the table.
"Oh I've heard of you! Your the one with the shit boyf-" Hayda didn't get to finish her sentence because Loti stomped on her foot. Hard. Hayda let out the most hurt yelp ever.
"Yeah, that's me."
Loti looked up at Jaybe again and they held eye contact for a whole three seconds, seemed like years.
"Ahem, well sorry lady's but I need to get something to ea-" Hayda was once again cut off, but not by a voice, by a person.
Hayda had gotta up from her chair not knowing who was walking behind her and bumped into the person causing her to fly backwards into the table.
"Hey! Watch where your going twinkle toes!"
Jaybe remembered that voice. She quickly ducked her head down.
"I'm really sorry! It was a accident!"
"Accident my ass, save your apology. Do you even know expensive this shirt is!"
Max...
Hayda didn't look joyful she looked for once scared and worried.
"She apologized now move. Unless your trying to start problems." Loti said, getting up from the table.
The 'ooos' getting louder.
"What did you say to me?"
"Are you trying to cause a problem? Because obviously you can't take sorry as a answer, so that says a lot about you."
Max wouldn've said more if it wasn't for the teacher walking closer causing both of them to panic and make it way back to their seats.
"Woah! Your like so cool for that! Loti is it?"
"Yes."
" yeah you were so cool!" Hayda said hugging and draping her legs over Loti's lap.
"Look like the roles have switched my knight in armor!" that caused everyone to giggle, even Jaybe.Soon after they ate, they decided to hangout before class.
"What homeroom do you guys have?" Ivy asked.
"Oh I have 234 with Hayda and Loti I think."
"That's nice! I have 235 with you!" Ivy said pointing finger guys at Mei, causing her to chuckle.
"Schools sooo boring!" Hayda began to complain. The same face for the third time today appeared on Loti's face.
"Can you stop being dramatic for one second? We leave in 4 hours and I always go home with you." Loti said and Hayda blushed.
"Oh yeah..." She giggled.
Jaybe began to see the tension between the two, not like she thinks its weird or nothing, because Jaybes what she likes to call a 'Ally'
"What class number do y'all have next?"
"279, Mr. Canning." Jaybe said.
"I have him too!" Marina shouted.
The girls celebrated until Mei said hers.
"278.."
"DAMMIT" Jaybe basically screamed causing Hayda and Loti to jump.
"Ohh I have 278 too!" Hayda exclaimed.
"Just a warning now, she's, much.." Jaybe whispered into Mei's ear.
"Oh I can tell." Mei giggled.
"Let's pray we have next period together!"
"I have 277." Loti said.
"Me too." Ivy said.
"Well at least everyone has someone!"
Just like that the bell rang, they exchanged goodbyes, and there they were off into class.
Jaybe just hoped to get a good class.
She prayed.
Just one good class.
