Jaybe and Marina walked into class 279 and looked around, everything looked normal, except the one person in the corner. The boy in the corner.
Ray Matcher.
Jaybe tensed up and didn't move.
"Jay? You okay?" Marina asked, concerned.
All Jaybe could do was walk to a empty desk on the other side of the room from Ray.
"Marina? Is that you?" Ray chuckled from the corner. Marina looked up and her face completely changed emotions.
"Speak of the devil. What do you want Ray?"
Marina asked.
"Woah.. Calm down there girl! All I wanted to do is say hi, proper greeting." Ray walked over to Marina and tried putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Get your hands off me, I don't know where they've been, probably up your ass!" Marina said. Her comment made the room gasp and giggle. She looked him up and down one last time before walking over next to Jaybe.
"What a dick." Marina mumbled.
Jaybe looked over at Ray and he looked back.
'Not more eye contact' Jaybe thought.
"Hey Jaybe~" Ray walked over to her.
Jaybe refused to look at him again.
"Aww you can't still be mad at me! It was 4 months ago! I'm a changed man." he said sarcastically. He bent down to her ear.
"Y'know we never officially broke up~" He whispered, touching her arm. Jaybe's eyes widen as she stood up fast, slapping his hands off of her. His eyes we're focused on her body, specifically her chest. She noticed. He tried touching her arm again when she slapped him. In the face. Hard. To the point where you could hear it.
"DON'T TOUCH ME YOU PERV!" she shouted causing people to stare. She backed up as she saw his eyes widen. Marina stood up and put her arm in front on Jaybe.
" You heard her! Don't touch her!" Marina protested. Jaybes eyes felt teary and they started to burn. Marina looked scared until the teacher walked into the room.
"Okay class, settle down! Take your seats!"
Marina moved Jaybes stuff to the other desk on the opposite side. She helped Jaybe sit down, and then she took her seat. Man, Marina hated Ray, she didn't even like him before the incident. He's always been plan mean and cruel to people who never deserve it.
"I'm gonna take role, here or present please."
As he got through names, he got to Jaybes.
"Jaybe hearding?"
"Present"
She could hear whispers and giggles coming for the other side of the room. Her heart sank. She didn't even want to look his direction.
"Ray Matcher?"
" I'm always here!" He said winking at some girls. He really thinks he's the shit, huh? You don't know how badly Marina wanted to shove her foot up his ass.
The clock must had been going really slow because it felt like forever til that bell rang.
"Have a nice day class see you tomorrow!"
Everyone got up from their desk and started packing up and making their way out the door.
"What class do you have next?" Marina asked.
"Study hall, what about you?" Jaybe says putting her books in her bag.
"Room 250, Math. UGH!"
"What?" Jaybe laughed.
"I overheard Ray saying he had 250 next too! I don't wanna be in two classes with that a-hole"
"It's okay, Marina, just ignore him I guess."
"Yeah I guess your right."
Both girls walked into the halls waiting for the other. Mei was the first one out of her class. Then Hayda who came spiraling after her.
"How was that class?" Marina chuckled.
Mei mouthed 'a lot'
"It was so boring! I miss Loti!" Hayda pouted.
"I'm right here? You couldn't wait an hour to see me, your so needy!" Loti said, walking over to Hayda.
"What class do y'all have next?" Jaybe asked.
"Studyhall, what abou-" Mei was interrupted by Jaybe's celebrate hooray.
"Jesus girl, you gotta stop screaming!" Marina said. Jaybe flushed from embarrassment.
"I have math, room 250?" Loti said.
"Girl me too!" Marina said.
"Me three!" Ivy added.
All girls looked at each other and giggled.
"I have room 629..." Hayda said, disappointed.
"Aww it's okay Hayda.." Ivy said before wrapping Hayda in a hug. "We'll get to see you next period or after school though!"
"I guess your right! I'll see y'all later! I have to walk up stairs.. " Hayda said before dashing away. She was quick too.
"Well girls, we better get going I'll see you guys later!" Marina shouted before running off with Loti and Ivy.
"Well, we better get to class."
"Yeah."
What could be so bad about study hall? Nothing, right?
Jaybe was once again incredibly wrong.
