Chapter 5: Rosie Pink.

Jaybe's eyes wondered the class as the teacher finished talking. Max had sat on the other side of the room with Suki, who didn't seemed to please being yelled at a million times in on hour. Jaybe felt paper touch her hand, she looked over at Mei, who was passing her a note. Jaybe grabbed it with confusion and opened it.
This class sucks.
Jaybe looked over at Mei who was smirking and shrugging her shoulders.
"Y'know," Jaybe started, "You could've just told me that instead of writing it."
Mei's eyes traveled from Jaybe to Damian then back to Jaybe.
Oh-
Jaybe started to giggle causing Damian to look up. Mei slammed her head on the desk trying not to laugh. Damian had a confused look on his face. Jaybe looked over at him, still giggling.
"So Damian, are you new to town?" Jaybe asked. Damian eyes darted to Jaybe.
"Uh yeah, I live in Oaknut entry."
Mei's head quickly shot up from her desk.
"That's great! That's where me and Mei leave!"
Jaybe said looking over at Mei. Mei's cheeks were rosy pink causing Jaybe to make a small cackle.
"Y'all live together?"
"No silly, same neighborhood. She lives across from me!" Jaybe said, smirking at Mei, whose cheeks were even darker than before.
Damian smiled and looked at Mei, causing her to turn away as quick as she could.
"Y'all seem really close..." He said, his cheeks were also a light shade of pink.
"Yeah, I've known her for a long time, best friends, forever!" Jaybe knew Mei was smiling without even seeing her face.
"Okay class!" The teacher called out "bells about to ring! Please pack up and get ready for the rest of the day!"
Jaybe got up from her desk and got her stuff and went over to Mei, who was also packing up. Mei was packing up quickly causing her to drop her English book out of her bag. She went down to grab it but she saw a hand already going down to reach it. It was Damian.
"Here, let me get it for you."
He picked up the book and handed it to Mei.
Mei's face was definitely a very, very dark shade of red. She gently grabbed the book, accidentally touching Damians fingers in the process. Jaybe just stood there trying so hard not to crack up into to laughter. She looked up at Damian and noticed his cheeks were a little darker than before and he was smiling at Mei.
"I'm gonna go meet up with Marina and the others..." Jaybe said, but before she left she whispered something into Mei ear causing her to gasp and her face to turn darker.
Damian just smiled looking away.
The bell rang and Jaybe walked off but not before winking at Damian causing him to giggle.
"Umm," Damian started, "Can I walk you to class?" he asked, a knot in his throat.
Mei looked up at him then she turned away.
"Yes, I would like that." she finally got out.
So there they went.

Jaybe ran to Marina's classroom, just as she saw Marina, Ivy, And Loti walking out.
"Girls!" Jaybe shouted, causing Loti and Ivy to jolt. Marina was used to Jaybes chaotic yelling.
"Mei's got a crush~" she said in a romantic voice. Marina's eyes widened as her and Jaybe started screeching 'EEEE' and connecting hands. Ivy giggled and looked over to Loti, who was looking at the stairs.
"What are you looking at?" Ivy asked.
" I'm looking for Hayda."
"Awww," Ivy said, gently pushing Loti with her elbow and raising her eyebrows. Lotis cheeks turned rosie pink, causing Jaybe and Hayda to notice.
"Loti~," Marina said walking over, "you also got someone special~" Her and Jaybe started to giggle which also caused Ivy to crack up.
"Oh please!" Loti smiled.
"Guys!" They heard a voice from the stairs.
It was Hayda, running down the stairs, fast, and almost tripping. Loti put her hands out just in case she did fall. Hayda grabbed them, even though she didn't fall.
"Hey beautiful~" Hayda said raising a eyebrow.
The comment caused to whole group of girls to giggle except for Loti, whose face was red and not pleased. She snatched her hands away and hit Hayda in the shoulder.
"Smooth going Hays." Ivy said, still giggling.
"It's not funny, you're not funny." Loti said rolling her eyes and looking at her schedule paper. Jaybe smirked and started to wonder if Damian and Mei were 'getting along.'
she giggled at the thought.
Mei in love.
Ugh!
The thought made her so very happy.
"Soo~," Marina said, "whose the guy Mei's gotta a so called crush on?"
All girls looked over at Jaybe, very intrigued indeed.
"Well, his names Damian-"
"THE GOTH LOOKING ONE?!" Hayda yelled, interrupting Jaybe.
"Umm, yeah? I think-"
"Oh my god! I know him! He's in my second period! He's so quiet? I mean so is Mei, their like perfect for each other!" Hayda said, smiling like crazy.
Everyone was happy for Mei. 
Jaybe was happy for Mei.
Very happy indeed.
