"we shouldn't arrive at the same time," simon sighed, kissing harry's lips softly once more before turning to pull on a shirt, smiling at the playful whines that harry emitted from his position sitting on the bed.

"do we have to go?" he asked, elongating each word, only half joking. he had been having a great time with his boyfriend, alone in simon's room, jj having left a few hours prior. until josh had called simon, asking where the fuck he was and if he knew he was already ten minutes late to filming.

"and do you know where harry is?" josh finally ended his lecture, barely listening as simon swallowed, eyes trained on harry, who was knelt on the floor below him, sinful eyes grinning up at him. he steadied his breathing, swallowing heavily before replying.

"no clue, mate."

harry had seconds later received a very similar phone call, and promised he would get there as quick as he could, before collapsing onto the double bed that just seemed so inviting.

"aren't freezy and lux out tonight?" simon replied with a smirk, almost laughing at how eager harry suddenly appeared, the thoughts of any empty flat stretching before him.

"i'll call an uber," he kissed the tall blonde, turning to leave with a sad sigh. simon listened to the sound of him pulling on his shoes by the front door, and called out a final goodbye when he heard the front door open.

-

"yes josh, i fucking know i'm late, you've already called me about thirty times," harry muttered in annoyance, phone pressed to his ear so the uber driver wouldn't hear him get told off. "well, i'm on the motorway now, so i can't really do anything about it, can i?"

"we have the studio booked out for a limited amount of time, harry, you can't just show up fourty-five minutes late. and are you sure you haven't seen simon?"

"yes i'm fucking sure," he snapped, the mere mention of the man's name bringing him back to what had gotten interrupted, and frustration coursed through his veins.

he hung up with a sigh, attempting an awkward smile at the driver, who had been steadfastly attempting to ignore the conversation he'd had been having.

harry turned to look out the window, pressing his forehead to the cold glass, watching the rain pound down on the busy roads. he started to drift off, waking only at the sudden deafening sound of screeching tires and glass shattering all around him.

-

simon tapped his steering wheel in frustration, anger bubbling up inside of him. he was already almost an hour late, and the traffic hadn't moved in ten minutes. he called jj as he groaned in annoyance, the events of the day catching up on him all at once as he sat in an idle car in the pouring rain.

"jide? the traffic hasn't moved in ages, start without me," he said, rolling his eyes at the sound of jj's pissed off whine. none of them were in a worse situation that him at that moment, it was cold and wet, and he was stuck in the middle of the motorway.

"we can't, harry's not here either, it's a fucking sidemen sunday, simon. we can't do that with five people,"
"well, what am i supposed to do about that? he's probably in the same traffic as me, it's horrendous."

he heard muffled mumbling on the other side of the line, until suddenly tobi was speaking into his ear.
"why's there so much traffic?" he asked, but before simon could open his mouth to speak, the loud, sudden sound of sirens filled the air, ambulances and fire trucks racing past him.

"accident i guess, that was just the services going past." he felt bad for feeling pissed off, knowing someone was in a much worse position than him, but still. he stuck in traffic, he would get a red card, and he may as well have not even made him and harry leave his flat, because he was still missing the stupid video, just in a shittier setting.
