In the dorm, Chuu and Yves were discussing the topic. "Should we ask to see our contracts? Do you think we'd get in trouble?" Yves asked.

"I don't know, maybe," said Chuu.

"I think you should ask. You're a celebrity, after all, so worst case scenario if you do get in trouble they can't kick you out or suspend you or anything because you are the one who makes the money for the company,"

"I just feel a little greedy asking for money," Chuu says. "I mean, if we've never gotten paid, who cares? Why should that change now? I think we're doing just fine. We're idols! We're living the dream!"

"No, we're not. Is it the dream to get less than an hour of sleep every day? Is it the dream to overwork yourself to the point of fainting? Is it the dream to be locked in a room with 11 other people and only be allowed out for 20 minutes a day?"

"I mean, not exactly, but-"

"Is it the dream to not be in control of your schedule? Is it the dream to not be allowed to eat? Is it the dream to be forced to bleach your hair so much that you develop permanent health issues? Is it the dream to do all of this for free?" Yves asked. "Compared to other idols, we don't have it good at all."

"But the manager said-"

"He's just trying to make us feel better. Lip and I have been talking to our friends from other groups, and they said this is definitely not normal and we are being severely taken advantage of, and we need to do something about it."

"What are you implying?" Chuu asked.

"I'm saying you should talk to the CEO about this. We aren't slaves, and he should stop treating us like it."
"But what if he's allowed to? It's our fault for agreeing to those contracts. And why should it be me who asks? Why can't you do it? I don't see the problem!"
"You have a point. We did sign those contracts, but still, this shouldn't be legal. I'm sure we can do something to make it a little better," Yves says. "And it needs to be you who asks because you're valuable. You're the reason we haven't disbanded yet, the reason the company makes money. You see how they schedule you for everything, and never one of us. People like you the most. They can't punish you, because if they did, they would lose support from the fans and therefore lose money. If it's one of us who gets it, no one would bat an eye."

"That's not true, everyone loves you!" Chuu said. "But... you do have a point. I guess I'll ask about the contracts, but only because you seem really passionate about it."
