Y/n was sitting cross legged, his hands on his knees. His eyes shut closed, as his phone was playing a podcast that he's gotten into recently thanks to Maddie.
It's been five years since the battle between Godzilla and Ghidorah. And y/n has grown into a young man. His connection with Godzilla also grew much stronger. Y/n has grown out his hair, as it reaches down to his waist now.
In that time, y/n and Maddie had become friends. And had recommended the podcast that he was currently listening to.
The way y/n and strengthen his abilities was by meditation.
Podcast: "Hello, loyal listeners. Welcome to TTP, Titan Truth Podcast. Episode number 245. Today is the day. Maybe the last podcast I ever record. And look, I know I said that last week and maybe the week before and a few other times. But, look, this is the point. After five years of deep cover at Apex Cybernetics, I’m finally taking my shot"
Y/n cleared his mind. A steady blue glow began to appear across his back.
Podcast: "Something bad is going on here. I don’t know what it is, but I’m about to walk in and download hard evidence and expose a vast corporate conspiracy. Yeah, you can call me a whistleblower, but I ain’t just whistling. I mean, this is more than a leak. It’s a flood. And believe me, this flood is gonna wash away all of Apex’s lies. You can believe that"
Y/n didn't hear anymore, as he opened his eyes. Finding himself deep underwater. He looked around, before meeting godzilla face to face.
"Child"
Y/n: "godzilla"
"Why are you here?"
Y/n: “to check on you.. you know how monarch gets if I don't regularly do so”
“I see. Well, get it over with.. I am busy”
Suddenly, Godzilla began to surface. Y/n looks on surprised, seeing some sort of factory being his destination.
Y/n: “busy with what exactly..?”
Godzilla goes silent.
Y/n: “godzilla.. godzilla!-”
Godzilla released his iconic roar, causing y/n to cover his ears. Getting closer to land, godzilla is able to get on his own feet, as he starts stomping towards the facility. Which had civilians in the crossfire. After the destruction is done, Godzilla releases a roar.
Just then, y/n returns to his own body with a gasp for air.
Y/n: “what the hell is he doing..?”
With a sigh, y/n went on about his godzilla check ups. Alerting monarch of what he was told by the king, and stepped back. It was kind of late, so he decided to get some sleep.
The next day, he was once again in his room, cross legged, and trying to connect with Godzilla again. The podcast once again playing in the background.
Podcast: “Welcome back, loyal listeners, to Titan Truth Podcast, episode 246. Oh, my God. I was there. Godzilla’s Apex attack. I saw it go down! You think it’s a coincidence that he reappears and just so happens to destroy that specific facility? Ha-ha, no, no, no, no. No such thing as a-”
Suddenly, his phone started to ring. Y/n sighed as he got up and grabbed his phone. Seeing that Maddie was the one calling.
Y/n: “hello?”
Maddie: “please tell me you got something”
Y/n: “big guys giving me the silent treatment. He's even blocked me out from connecting with him”
