GxK The new empire: part one

The black void is all that could be seen... Apart from a faint blue glow.

♪wont you come on it♪

The blue glow began to shine brighter. It pulses in a rhythmic tune... But the pulsing grows faster, and faster, till suddenly...

BOOM.

it pulls back, revealing that the black void was actually just a dark pool with no lights inside of a containment room, as an explosion bursts from the water, splashing the entire room, including the viewing glass, which had monarch scientists on the other end. As well as Chen.

From the pool, a familiar figure climbs out. Y/n, now 18 years old, gasps for air, as he pulls himself onto the cold metal floor.

A wet suit was all that he wore, as his hair, which was cut a bit shorter, was tied back into a bun.

He'd release a groan of pain, as the doors to the room opened, as scientists and chen entered. The scientist immediately started examining y/n's body before he could even sit up. So he waves them off, and grits his teeth, rising to a seated position.

Chen: "you ok?"

Y/n: "as best as I can be... That's probably gonna leave a mark..."

After the show of power between Godzilla and Kong, as well as the reveal of the corrupted Mecha Godzilla, y/n has been experiencing some... Interesting additions to his abilities. For three years straight, y/n's bee going through painful tests, alongside keeping an eye on Godzilla.

Many of the scientists at monarch have thrown theories as to what's happening to y/n. But y/n as given his own theory. One that was immediately dismissed by all. Except Chen...

But it's just a theory, and he just needs a reason to test it. But even if Chen trusts him, just her word alone won't let y/n go back down to hollow earth.

Chen: "well, it left something"

Y/n: "huh?"

Y/n looks over his shoulder, confused, as Chen rubs his back. There were rips in the back of the wet suit. A lot of them. Almost like dorsal plates grew and retracted. Chen also pinched something off his back, and brought it around for him to see.

Chen: "whatever is happening to you, it's getting stronger"

Y/n took the thing from her hand, and looked at it. It was a reptilian scale, and was some shade of green.

Y/n: "like that thing I saw..."

Chen: "go clean up, and get some rest. Ok? I'll keep everyone away from you"

Y/n: "got it... Thanks mom"

Oh, and y/n is now officially known as Y/n Chen.

(Fun fact: Ilene is shared between Ms. Chen, and Dr. Andrews. Two monarch scientists with the same name adopting kids who have special connections to the two big titans)

Chen gives y/n a quick kiss on the head, and stops any other scientists from examining him, as he leaves to his "special" door for his monitor room. Some scientists believed that y/n had an unnatural amounts of radiation in his body. And... They're right. As much as Chen herself hated to admit it, y/n's body held some unhealthy amounts of radiation, which could potentially harm or even kill someone if not careful. So he has a decontamination room for entering and leaving his monitor room.
