Real and True

Chapter 8

I woke up at 10:30 and stretched out in my bed and rolled over onto the floor, I just laid there for a minute because I was to tired to get up, when I finally decided to get up I threw my covers on my bed and walked to the bathroom.

I sat on the toilet with my elbows on my knees and resting my head on my hands, I was still sleepy but I told Michael I would go swimming with him and it takes me a long time to get ready so I got up early. I flushed the toilet and washed my hands going to get my stuff to shower and sat it on the bed.

I walked over to my bed and fluffed the covers up and down until the remote fell out, I grabbed it and turned some music on. I was dancing in my own little world until I heard a knock on my door. I groaned because I was rudely disturbed and I put my robe on and walked to the door.

I opened it to see Monae "how you get in here" I asked "Brittany opened the door for me her, boyfriend is downstairs" I let her in the room and closed the door behind her.

Brittany and Jerome has been going out for about 6 months, yes I keep up with their relationship. Monae and Jay has been going out since 7th grade and we are in 12th grade now so that's about 6 years, and my mom and dad have been together since they was 17 and now they are 34, and I'm the only one that's single.

"Girl my back hurt so much" Monae said laying on my bed "I bet it do, all you and Jay do is fuck" I said laughing. "Don't make it seem like our relationship is just for sex hoe cause you know it's not" I rolled my eyes "bitch get out my room" I said throwing a pillow at her and running in the bathroom locking it. I heard her beating on my door yelling "I gotchu hoe" she said, I laughed and stepped into the shower.

After about 15 minutes of being in the shower I got out and dried off my body. I looked in the mirror and admired my naked body, I put on my swimsuit and brushed my teeth in the bathroom. I walked out and put on some shorts and a tank top over my swim suit. I put my hair into a tight ponytail and sat on my bed beside Monae. "You got your swimming suit under your clothes" I asked she nodded her head and kept typing on her phone.

I rolled my eyes and walked to Brittany room I realized we haven't been spending much time lately, only on family nights and that's once a week. I walked in her room to see her and her boyfriend Jerome all cuddled up watching a movie. "Don't you know how to knock" she said with a attitude" I rolled my eyes not wanting to curse her out "I came in here to see if y'all wanted to go to the water park with me and a couple of my friends" I asked. They shook their heads no "we got plans later on" Jerome said squeezing her booty and she giggled I rolled my eyes and went downstairs.

I got me a bowl out the cabinets and a spoon out the drawers, I grabbed the milk and cereal and sat down at the table. I poured the Fruity Pebbles in my bowl and milk afterwards. I ate while watching a show of Sponge Bob and when I was done with my cereal I walked back upstairs and saw Monae watching the same episode of Sponge Bob I was watching. I sat down and my phone vibrated letting me know that I had a message I looked at my phone to see it was a message from Michael. I unlocked my phone to read it

Michael (12:00)- the pool open but just be there by 12:30

Me (12:01)- okay which water park the one on North side or West side

Michael (12:05)- West side

Me (12:06)- okayy

I grabbed my keys and my bag to change clothes when I leave the pool I tapped Monae "c'mon girl we gotta be there by 12:30" she jumped up and grabbed her stuff and we headed downstairs. "Bye mama bye daddy" I said heading out the door and for Monae to say the same thing and she closed the door behind her, and we walked to my Ferrari and got in. It was a little to much to be driving just to the pool but I always drive my BMW and I just decided on my other baby.
