"Hey, Elina, how's it going?  It was Aaron, a boy from my class. His sudden appearance left me bewildered. We're not that close, so it was quite unexpected for me to see him here. Nobody in my class knows my address except Felix. Before I could think further, my eyes traveled to the bouquet of hydrangea he was holding.

"These are for you," he said with a smile, extending the flowers towards me. Now I was even more surprised because hydrangeas are my favorite flowers! How on earth did he know that? I wondered if it was just a coincidence or if he somehow knew about it.

Reality stricked me, and I realized he was patiently standing there, waiting for me to invite him inside. I mentally kicked myself for getting so lost in my own thoughts and leaving him stanhding there on the doorstep. "Oh, um please come in and have a seat!" I managed to say, still being puzzled.

I offered him a cup of coffee and asked him, "Why the surprise visit?"

"I just wanted to see you," he replied with a nonchalant shrug.

I frowned into my coffee cup. We weren't close friends. Why would he come to meet me all of a sudden? I wondered if someone had told him I was sick. "Did someone say I've been sick?" I asked

No, no," he said. I just thought of meeting you as you're absent for too long."

I thought in mind, "Too long? I was absent for only one week." I decided not to ask him any other questions further. After having some chitchat we bid good-byes to each other, I was still in confusion. What was the real reason might be?

Whatever, I shrugged off the thoughts for that moment and decided to tell Felix about everything. Then I went to my study area.
Next morning:
"I've to go to school today." It's been more than a week since I haven't met Nick" It came out randomly as my tongue slipped.

"You bi#ch why can't you move on from that guy!!" I was cursing myself, just then my phone rang interrupting my thoughts and it was my bff Felix.
