The piercing shriek of my alarm clock jolted me awake.

"Ugh, not already," I groaned, slamming the snooze button. But as I sat up, I felt the telltale dampness between my legs.

"Crap!" I yelped, seeing the red stain on my sheets. My periods has started, it had to be today when I was completely out of pads.

I scrambled out of bed, cursing under my breath. It was already 7:45 and I had to be at school in less than an hour. No time for this nonsense. Pulling my drawer I got nothing except a growing sense of panic.

I thought of informing Felix. He might help me. I grabbed my phone to call him, then froze. Felix was still missing. A sudden fear started to consume me. Where is he? Is he fine?

Shaking off the dark thoughts, I got freshened up and rushed to the nearby pharmacy. Thankfully, they had what I needed. After cleaning up in their restroom, I hurried to reach home as soon as possible.

That's when I saw him. There across the store stood a tall figure with a crutch under one arm. It took me no time to realise who it was.

"Fe-fe-FELIX!!" I was shouting his name and running towards him. But as soon as he saw me, he turned and hobbled away as fast as his injured leg could take him.

I was stunned and confused. Why was he running from me? I had to catch him. Ignoring the stares of onlookers, I sprinted after him.

He couldn't make it far on that injured leg. Just as he was flagging, I caught up and grabbed his shoulder.

We both were panting heavily.

"You b!tc#!!! Where have you been all this time? I demanded, anger and hurt welling up inside me.

"You didn't bother to think about me once huh! Do you have any idea on what you have caused?"

Before I could continue, he grabbed my arm and pulled me behind a shelf. He put his hands over my mouth and pinned me against the wall, desperation in his eyes. My heart started racing.

"Please just listen to me carefully," he whishpered urgently. Elina, I'm sorry for ghosting you but believe me I had no choice. I can't explain right now, but I assure I'll make things right soon. For now please don't try to come near me or contact me. And don't tell anyone that we met here."

He released me and my eyes filled with tears. "You're scaring me, Felix. I need you to tell me what's going on," I closed my eyes and started crying miserably.

Felix just shook his head. Then he turned and vanished between the shelves, leaving Elina stunned and alone.

"Why are you sielnt?" I asked but got no answer.

I opened my eyes and looked up only to find he was gone. Anger and confusion warred within me. He left me dumbfounded.

Sighing deeply I decided to head home. I checked my watch and realised it was too late already. I decided to skip school for that day, too distraught to focus.

Back in my room, my mind swirled with with questions. What was felix mixed up in? Why couldn't he tell me the truth? Exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster, I cried for hours then drifted to sleep.

The sound of doorbell pierced the afternoon silence, waking me up. I scrambled out of bed, heart racing. Could it be Felix? I rushed to the door, flinging it open with hope swelling in my chest. But my face fell when I saw Aaron standing there instead.

"Oh, it's you," I said flatly.

He raised an eyebrow. "Were you expecting someone else?" He asked.

I opened my mouth to respond but caught myself just in time. Felix had warned me not to utter a word about him to anyone.

"Uhh, no, just wasn't expecting you at this time," I said.

"Anyways, come on in."

He came inside and I made my way to the kitchen for making coffee, trying to calm my nerves. My thoughts drifted to Felix.

I wish I could tell Aaron about the earlier incident, could seek his help finding Felix. But I can't disobey his words.

I carried two steaming mugs into the living room where Aaron waited. As I sat down next to him, he fixed me with an intense stare.

"Have you heard anything about Felix?" He asked.

I shook my head, hating to lie. "No, nothing yet."

He reached for my hand, holding it firmly. "Don't worry. We'll find him together. I'm here for you."

I tried to pull my hands back, unsettled by his sudden closeness, but his grip only tightened.

"Let go of me!" I demanded, wrenching my hand away.

In an instant he had me pinned against the couch, eyes blazing.

"I can't hide my feelings anymore! I love you, Elina! I'd do anything for you! Please, be mine!"

He leaned in, but with a burst of strength I broke free and slapped him hard across the face.

"Get the fuvk out!" I yelled, trembling with rage.
"Don't ever come near me again!"

Shocked, he backed away, hand pressed to his burning cheek.

"Hey! I-I'm sorry," he stammered. "I didn't mean to..."

But I had already slammed the door on him. Alone again, my heart hammered as I fell on my knees to the floor. I started crying heavily.

"How can I be this careless to allow an unknown boy to come in my house? What if he would have done something bad? How can he be this cheap?" I started cursing me while sobbing.
