Wei Ying
I was following Lan Zhan's every move.. when he returns after class he's still busy inside his room.. he has a space at the corner for his study table, behind the table is a shelf where he puts books and paper scrolls.. earlier he tried to help me stand.. I can feel my legs now, but they are still weak.. I can't stand without Lan Zhan's support.. and the whole time I feel awkward.. there's something in the atmosphere surrounding us.. I can't pin point it, but there's a change.. Yes it's clearly that he change his attitude towards me.. he's more friendly and caring. But there's more to it.. there are instances where our face is too close because he's holding me then he would notice the closeness then he would look uncomfortable. I really don't know.. suddenly a knock stopped Lan zhan from what he's been doing, he walked to the door and opened it.
"Young Master Lan.. can I visit Wei-xiong, is he awake now? I heard Wen Ning's voice it made me smile..
"Wen Ning come here!!" I yelled inside the bedroom, I heard his rushing steps.. it looks like he didn't wait for Lan Zhan to let him in when he heard me.
"Wei-xiong how are you???" He slumped beside me and immediately grabbed my hands.. his eyes are teary. " I got so worried about you, I just can't visit you earlier because the first 2 days you are unconscious and Master Xichen told us to let you rest..
"I'm okay now, thanks to the second Young Master Lan" I looked at him and I noticed his brows are almost stitched together, he's also staring where Wen Ning is grabbing my hand.. I slowly pulled my hand, I felt guilty without knowing why.
"Thank you second young master Lan!!" Wen Ning also turned to him.. Lan Zhan cleared hi throat before talking.
"Wen Ning, I'm sorry to cut your visit but Wei Ying is tired because he tried walking but his legs are still weak.. and tomorrow we have exam with my brother isn't this the right time for you to review first.."
"Oh.. I'm sorry.. Wei-xiong I'm happy to see you even if it's in a very short time, now I can breathe because I can see that you're more than okay.. keep getting better, I have to go now.."
He bowed to me, as he stood he bowed to Lan Zhan then he walked out of the room.
When we are alone again Lan Zhan stayed silent.. I just looked at him, then he busied himself again on whatever he's been doing.. He puts some books beside me but it's more enjoyable to watch him move inside the house. "Lan Zhan"
"Mn?"
"I'm not that tired.. why didn't you let
Wen Ning stay a little bit longer?"
"Don't be hard headed Wei ying, you need to rest to recover fast " he looks so serious while talking, I decided to just let it slide and not to start an argument, since for the past few days he's been really good to me.. "are you hungry?"
"A little.."
"Then wait a bit I'll prepare food for you.." I don't know if being poisoned is a good thing because it made me a little closer to LanZhan or it's a bad thing because I'm getting confused of what he's been showing me lately.. Tonight while he was feeding me my dinner he smiled at me a couple of times.. I told him I can do it by myself but he insisted on feeding me because he told me that I need to finish the food and he's so sure that I won't finish it if I ate by myself.. when he decided on something you can never say anything to change it.. he always says that I am hard headed but the whole time we are together, I saw how stubborn he is.. we are both stubborn in a different way.. I hope After I regain my strength he would stay the same.. talking to me, and being friendly with me.. I can't wait to hang out with him some more. Outside this room.
