Prologue: Start Over

Author notes: After the prologue, chapters one and two, the rest of the chapters are going to be longer. Also, I do apologize if my story doesn't make sense or it doesn't sound right. This is my first fan fiction story here, but I hope you all enjoy it. Thank you. 

Jane p.o.v

It was an average sunny day as I was getting ready for my part-time job at Suzie's Cafe, which was two miles and a half walk from where I live. Which is a huge pain in the ass, I hate walking there as I don't like walking in general, and let me remind you as I'm unfit due to stress eating a lot as I have many problems in my life. But I will explain that for another time as I still have to grab breakfast for myself before heading out as I don't know when I be eating next. So I headed downstair after getting dressed and grabbing my backpack that has everything I need for work, once I was downstair I headed to the kitchen to make my bagel. I grabbed my bagel from the kitchen cabinet popped the bagel into the toaster, and soon waited to be done toasting. While waiting, I decided to look at the weather app on my phone to see if it going to rain or not, turn out it just going to be sunny all day. After looking at the weather, I just looked at new articles to pass the remaining time left until my bagel was done. So far all I have seen is the same old articles from yesterday morning, I sigh annoyed at this and soon my bagels are done. I walked over to the toaster took them out and placed them on the plate as I went to grab some cream cheese for my bagel as I don't like to eat them plain. 

*Time skip*

Once I was done eating, I placed my dirty dishes in the dishwasher and headed into the living room where I did a mental check to see if I got everything. After doing a mental check of everything, I headed to the door to put my shoes on. Just before I headed out of the house, I also forgot to grab my house key which has my favorite Venom keychain with the Venom chest logo on it.  As you guessed from my keychain that I mentioned, I've been a fan of Venom since I was in fourth grade. Everything that own in my bedroom and living room is venom-related, I like everything about Venom from his personality to his design within the comic book. But enough about that before I get too carried away, I opened the door headed out of the house, and walked down the street in my safe neighborhood where I don't have to worry about getting robbed or anything like that. 

*Time skip*

Which felt like thirty minutes of walking to me, I sighed and stopped walking for a couple of seconds to check what time it was and saw I still had enough time to get there. I put my phone back in my pocket and kept on walking, but still, I started walking again. A little girl ran in front of me from one of the houses nearby as she chased the ball she was playing as she entered the street. I looked around to see where her parents were as a kid should be on the road trying to get their ball, to my surprise her parents were nowhere to be found. That was when I also saw an oncoming pickup truck who is past the speed limit on this road. I called out to the little girl to warn her of the incoming truck coming her way "Hey, little girl look out!" She did end up hearing me, but she was too in shock to move. Like the hero I wanted to be in the comic or movie, I jump into action to save a random person's child from being killed. I ran onto the road to save the child before getting hit, as I was there but ended up tripping before grabbing the child to safety so in the last attempt I pushed her out of the way before I got hit myself. Then I heard a big crash and car tires squeaking against the road and my body, that is when I felt a huge amount of pain all whole body and blood leaking out of my body. 

I was crying in pain as I couldn't move my body, the only thing I felt after being hit was the pain and my eyes kept on closing as I tried to keep them open but they wouldn't let me. I keep hearing people's voices in the background as I can feel the panic in their voices from what just happened. But before I knew it, my eyes closed shut, and was going unconscious. The last thought in my mind was "Is this it, is this how I die after getting hit and wasting my life......this isn't fair...." That was it before entering the never-ending void of death. What felt like seconds or minutes, or perhaps even longer of seeing endless darkness. I reopened my eyes and heard myself crying in a baby voice as I saw a female doctor pick me up and bring me over to the woman in the bed  and hand me over to her as she cried in tears of joy along with the man beside her as the female doctor said: "It a baby girl." That was when I realized I had reincarnated as a baby again. I kept crying as I was confused and happy to have a second chance at life again while crying still like a baby. I heard the female doctor say "What are you naming her?" When the woman in the hospital bed said "Lucy Maria Hart", I began my new life as Lucy Maria Hart with a life that would cherish me forever.
