Chapter Eight: Let's Start A Riot

Eddie p.o.v.

I warped back into myself as I said to Venom, "God damn it, Venom! What the hell happened back there? We just left Lu." "It is not safe for her. I want her safe just as you do, Eddie. If we don't stop Riot now, there won't be any place safe for us as he will bring millions of my kind back to Earth." Venom said as I asked him, "Wait, millions? You guys were going to take the rocket, and come back here with invasion force? Then what were you guys going to do, going to feed on us all until there was nothing left?" "Yes! But it is different now, Eddie. I have decided to stay and protect your planet from that happening." Venom said I said wow sarcastically in response, "Back on my planet, I am kind of a loser like you. But here, we could be more." "Excuse me?" I said a little offended, "And I'm starting to like it here on Earth." "Oh, you started to like us now, huh?" "However, there will be nothing left to like if we don't stop Riot." "Oh, I see how it is. When it comes to being annihilated, then it is back to being 'we." I said still upset about earlier when Venom was trying to eat my inside. "It is 'we', whether you like it or not. It is going to take both of us to stop that rocket." "Cut the shit, what made you change your mind to come back?" I said, waiting for a response as we warped into Venom. "You. You did, Eddie."

Third p.o.v.

"Srub diagnostics," Drake said to his scientist as the scientist questioned him. "Sir?" "Did I shutter? Initiate the launch." Drake demanded them as the countdown started until five minutes to launch the ship. When he soon saw one of his scientists trying to look in the manual for how to abort the launch, Carlton Drake turned into a Riot killed everyone present in the room, and jumped out of the window there to the rocket. 

Eddie p.o.v.

"Oh, Jesus! Are you sure, we can take down this guy?" I said hoping, we be able to stop him. "He has got shit, you have never seen before." "What does that mean? What are our chances to win?" "Hmm. Pretty much, zero." "Alright, fuck it. Let's go save the world." I said as we headed off at full speed to the rocket. While running, we hid underneath Riot as they ran and jumped out in front of them. "Venom, get in the rocket," Riot demanded us, but we didn't listen. "No! We won't let you destroy this world." "Then, die," Riot said as they formed a ball with spikes out of their hand and swung it at full force at us. Then transform it into an axe when that didn't work and we kept on dodging it, "Holy shit!" "Told you," Venom said while trying to keep both of us alive as heard them say three minutes as we were going out of time. We formed a shield as Riot used an axe and soon threw them against the floor, and kicked them away. "You have a strong host. But not strong enough." Riot got back up as they said that and started attacking again.

Lucy p.o.v. 

I managed to get into the launch as I saw the ship through the window, staying in it same spot until the countdown reached zero. I still got two minutes and thirty seconds before that happen, so I look for the main control and look to see what buttons did what without screwing up while also looking at the fight that is going on. "Oh, no," I mutter out as I panic to look for anything to help save Eddie and Venom without stepping into the fight as I see them getting ripped apart by Riot and then soon being merged as one. Until I found what looked like a volume button and turned it up, so I could get Riot to let go of Venom. Which started to hurt Riot and Drake, but it worked as Venom let off Riot's clenches, "Ha, beat that, ugly ass." 

Eddie p.o.v.

After falling, both Drake and our symbiotes separated from us due to the noise along with the fall. I got up and started kicking Drake's ass I punch him and throw him against the ground as he fought back. With a running kick and a punch to the face, I sent him flying to the ground and he almost rolled off the edge of the platform. Just before I kicked him off, he said "You too late, this the next stage..." Not wanting to hear what he had to say next, I kicked him off the edge as I heard a splash from the water below. "You talk way too much," I say, thinking he was gone for good. Boy was I wrong, as I got stabbed in the chest by him and Riot.  "You are nothing," I heard them both say as that was the last thing I heard before dying and they headed inside of the rocket as I was probably too late to stop them. When Venom crawled back to me and brought me back to life we warped into Venom once again. We ran toward the rocket and jumped on the rocket before leaving into space. Our last and final words to each other were, "Traitor!" "Have a nice life." We used the sword that Riot used to kill me as we destroyed the ship and let go of it as we fell and watched it blow up. But the fire got too close to use from the explosion as Venom got hurt from the fire, but before dying. Venom sacrificed himself to protect me from the explosion as I heard Venom say to me at that moment, "Goodbye, Eddie."  "Venom, no!" I then drop into the water, thinking that Venom is gone forever.
