It was pouring rain as trucks full of equipment entered the Life Foundation garage and as soon as all the trucks came in, and parked. Dr. Carlton Drake opened one of the truck's back doors to reveal the symbiote trap in canisters. The first words that came out of his mouth were "Oh, my God." as he breathed heavily. "You're beautiful," he said as he was excited for what was about to come.

Elsewhere in the world, one of the symbiotes was loose and was looking for food and a new host. It found something to eat and that is when it started attacking people one by one, and then all of them at once. When it finds it new host to live on until it finds the next one.

*Six months later*

Dr. Skirth was doing a test in Dr. Drake's lab on the biological interaction of two different species Dr. Skirth explained the process to Drake and tried to figure out what was going on. Test subject 36th was a success for them on a rabbit and a symbiote as Drake decided to do a test on a human subject, which Dr. Skirth was afraid of.

Six months have passed, with the help of my parents and myself. I got a part-time job at a cafe in San Francisco just like my previous life, but at least this life was better than my last one. I mean I have my family and my apartment, and I'm still good friends with Eddie and Anne. However, the two of them haven't been talking to each as of lately. It makes sense since they broke their engagement to each other, which is sad. My mom kept on mentioning to hook up with him and I kept on telling her, he was in a bad spot as of right now as he was always at the pub drinking beers. After the incident, his life is more fuck up than mine as of right now since he has no place to stay and no money. So I let him stay at my apartment where I have a two-bedroom place and I wanted to lend him money for food or anything to help him get a job as I try to be a good friend to him while still having a crush on him. But so far for him, every place he applied to has shot him down. After explaining what has happened within the six months, back to the main part of the story. I entered the pub that Eddie was in and I found him at the counter drinking a beer and watching the TV on the wall. When I sighed and walked up to him I tapped on his shoulder as he turned around a little drunk. "Oh, hey Lu. What brings you here?" "To bring you back to the apartment, how many drinks did you have?" I say this in full confidence, knowing he wouldn't do anything to me if he was drunk or not. "Oh, sorry...I lost count." "Oh, boy. Come on, let's get you back to the apartment before you pass out on me." Eddie nodded and I allowed him to lean on my shoulder in case he wasn't able to walk straight as I asked the bartender to allow Eddie's bike to stay here until he was able to drive again after a couple of hours and the bartender allowed it as I lead Eddie to the exit. I soon called a Lyft to pick the two of us up and take us back to the apartment.

Once back at the apartment, I place Eddie into his room to sleep off the alcohol in his system as I say to him before he passes out on his bed. "Hey, don't forget you're coming to my parents' house for a family game night with me to interact with people who care about you and your well-being." "Okay...thanks," he says half tired and drunk as I set the alarm up in his room for when we have to leave. I sighed walked over to the door and shut it behind me as I cleaned up our apartment while listening to music with my headphones on. A couple of hours passed as I was finishing the last chore in the apartment while singing a song called Monsters by All Time Low to myself "Why do all the monsters come out at night? Why do we sleep where we want to hide? Why do I run back to you, like I don't mind if you fuck up my life?"
While singing the song peacefully to myself with no interruptions, I got a tap on the shoulder while cleaning the dishes I jumped in place in surprise as I turned around to see Eddie standing behind me with a smile on his face. I pause my music and put my headphones on my shoulder, "Eddie you scared the crap out of me." "Sorry, I was just admiring your lovely singing, you should sing often or in front of other people at least." I blush as he says this to me with a smile on his face. "Oh...you know I get shy in front of people beside you and everyone I know." "You could start from there then, what were you singing anyway?" "Oh, I was singing one of my favorite songs. When I like a song, I tend to listen to it on repeat." I laughed as I scratched the back of my neck nervously while looking away from Eddie. "Nothing wrong about that, if you like it, you like it. Anyway, we should get ready to go to your parent's house." "Yeah, your right, let get going." I go and put my headphones back in my room and grab my phone charger and purse as we both head out of the door together.
