One more chance? Kenny Ojuederie

Chapter 9!

Two weeks later..

The past two weeks have been amazing. Talia had gone over to Kenny's mom's house and seen her and some of his siblings for the first time in ages. They all loved Chelsea to bits and Kenny's mom promised she would look after Chelsea whenever they needed her two. She was always so maternal, I mean she does have loads of kids, Talia always loved her because whenever she went over Kenny's mom would treat her as one of her own.

Tonight, Kenny had asked Talia if she wanted to go out for food and have his mom watch Chelsea . So she could have a night with no real responsibility. Talia wasn't sure how she felt having other people look after Chelsea, she just about let Kenny, but she knows how good Kenny's mom is with kids so she accepted.

They were going to a nice restaurant where they always used to go on dates and everyone in there dresses well. She decided to wear a co-ord that she was gifted by PLT when she did a shoot with them so she put it on after having a nice long shower and a full body shave. Her hair was up in a bun and her makeup looked flawless.

When it got to 7, she heard a knock on the door and knew exactly who it was.

"Hey- woah you look amazing" Kenny said as Talia opened the door. She never failed to impress him.

"Hey Ken so do you, you clean up well" she giggled as she quickly grabbed her bag and they left the house.

The drive there was pretty quiet, but there was never an awkward moment. It was a comfortable silence, she felt at home. She was just scrolling on her phone when she suddenly felt something on her leg. She looked down and saw Kenny's hand on her thigh. He honestly couldn't resist touching her. He wasn't sure how she would feel seeing as they weren't together, but she just put her hand on-top of his, caressing his hand with her thumb.

When they arrived, he went over and spoke to the lady at the front who took them into a private room at the back.

"Awh Kenny you didn't have to do all this" Talia said as he pulled her chair out for her.

"You're the mother of my daughter, why wouldn't I treat you?" He questioned as he smiled at her, not getting over how beautiful she looked.

They both ordered their food and drinks and got to chatting while they were waiting. Kenny spoke about someone he was meant to be fighting in a few months time.

"Yeah so this is the last nice meal I can eat before I'm back to being in camp and only eating healthy stuff" He told her.

He was fighting some guy called Winderson Nunes, she hadn't ever heard of him before but either way she knew Kenny would do amazing.

After they ate their food, Kenny grabbed Talia's hands and looked her in the eye.

"The reason I wanted to take you out tonight was to ask you something, seeing you again and seeing Chelsea really made all my feelings for you come back. Not that they ever left. But I was just wondering if you wanted to try again? I mean we were so perfect for eachother, I know we didn't end in the best way but I'm willing to try it again if you are" Talia's eyes lit up at his question. A day wouldn't go by where she didn't think of him. Their relationship was in fact perfect and everyone knew it.

"Oh my Kenny.. YES of course I am!" She said with the biggest, cheesiest smile.

"Thank god" he sighed as they both laughed.
