Jonas woke up in the morning with a warm weight in his arms. Which immediately confused him, but then he remembered that he had invited his friends to stay the night. He immediately fell back to sleep thinking it must just be a friend of his in his arms. It was not uncommon for him to sleep with his friends, he had always been the cuddly type, and he was not ashamed to admit it.
And it was the weekend which meant he could sleep as much as he wanted. He hated mornings and above all hated getting up early.
In the middle of his sleep he felt the mass in his arms move so he could withdraw. He paid no more attention and took his arms away from the person. He felt like he was forgetting something important, but he was way too clinging to his sleep to be able to think about this moment. So he fell into a deep sleep again without glancing at the figure that was slowly leaving the room.
A few hours later he was woken up not by the lights of the sun, but he was woken up by the screams of his friends in the living room. His friends were always loud especially when they were all together.
He stretched for a long time before stifling a yawn. As he got up from his bed he noticed that the shutters had not been closed and that the sun was streaming directly into his eyes. He blinked several times to adjust to the sudden bright light. He found that he had forgotten to change his clothes, which was quite strange.
He felt like he had forgotten something important. Jonas tried to remember this, frowning in a vacuum. Then suddenly all the events of the last night came back to him. Damn how could he forget what happened the day before. That meant the figure he blurted out a few hours ago was Tyler.
Come to think of it that meant Tyler had gone home and had to drive home which was a long drive alone after what happened yesterday. He hated himself at that moment for not waking up. He was worried about Tyler, he didn't even know if he was better or even able to drive after what happened yesterday. Yesterday's event sounded like a panic attack, but he felt like it was more than that. Like it was something much deeper. However, he did not know what it was really about.
His stomach churned at the thought of Tyler alone in his car trying to start the car with his hands shaking so badly it took him several tries. Worse still he wondered if he had had trouble breathing for a moment on the road, or if he couldn't even see the road ahead of him because of the tears that were blurring his vision.
Tyler was his best friend and thinking about him suffering alone because he didn't bother to wake up made him mad at himself. Nevertheless he took a deep breath to try to calm down, getting upset was not going to change anything in what had happened. He had made a mistake, and he had to make sure that Tyler got home safely and that he was okay.
He quickly grabbed his phone to dial his number, but each call sent him back to voicemail. He didn't even know how many times he had called, but each unanswered call sent him into a spiral of dread.
Knowing Tyler, he might not have answered out of pride. Tyler was someone who never expressed his feelings unlike him and hated being vulnerable to others. So maybe he chose not to answer because he was too ashamed of what happened yesterday, ashamed of letting someone see himself in such a state.
He started to imagine the worst scenarios that could happen to him, he was way too paranoid, he imagined Tyler in a dead car accident with no one around to help him. Before he could start imagining other scenarios that would send him into another panic his friends appeared in his room.
"Dude what are you doing in your bed again? It's past noon ! Come on get up !" Shouted Nathan.
"We are waiting for you to cook! The girls are cooking imagine the horror that they will serve us again! We're waiting for you to save us from their disgusting food !" Said Tetsuya rummaging through his stuff looking for something (probably porn knowing him).
