The ferris wheel started its ascent, and anxiety gripped you. Clutching onto your dress, you hung your head low, avoiding looking outside through the window. The height scared you, and your heart thumped rapidly. Closing your eyes tightly, you hoped to avoid the view and the fear associated with it.

Mr. Kim noticed your unease and asked, "Ms. Lim, are you okay?" He tilted his head to look at your face. Just then, the ferris wheel abruptly stopped its rotation.

Your heart almost dropped. Trying not to show your vulnerability, you struggled to suppress the fear. Mr. Kim looked down to figure out the reason for the sudden halt and realized that your cabin was at the very top.

"Did it... stop?" you stammered, looking down, beads of sweat forming on your forehead. The fear of the height felt like an abyss, making your breath heavy and uneven—something Mr. Kim could certainly sense.

Realizing your discomfort, he placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. "It might be a temporary delay," he reassured. You nodded slowly, feeling on the verge of fainting. "Hey, Y/n, look at me," he said.

The sudden use of your name caught you off guard. You slowly turned to look at him, and he held your hands tightly. "Don't think that we're in some high place, okay? Just imagine we're sitting by the pond," he suggested, and you nodded slowly.

You were shivering due to fear, and Mr. Kim placed his hand on your cheek, gazing into your frightened eyes. He wiped away tears that had fallen without your notice, and you looked down, feeling embarrassed.

"Look at me," he demanded, gently raising your chin with his index finger. "Don't think about anything else," he urged, locking eyes with you. His gaze helped calm you down; your breathing returned to normal, the shivering ceased, but your heart still thumped rapidly due to the close proximity. He looked at your lips, and you found your gaze drawn to his as well.

The ferris wheel suddenly started moving again, causing a shake in the cabins. You flinched and instinctively hugged Mr. Kim. Flustered, he slowly wrapped his arms around you, gently caressing your back.

"It's alright. We're going down. Don't worry, Y/n," he reassured, continuing to stroke your hair slowly. Noticing no movement, he looked at you and realized you were unconscious.

A worker opened the cabin door, and Mr. Kim carefully picked you up, swiftly exiting the cabin. He quickly started walking towards the nursing room, concern etched on his face. Your friends rushed towards you as Mr. Kim carried you to the nursing room.

Jin exclaimed, "What the hell happened to her?" but Mr. Kim didn't waste much time and proceeded to the nursing room without saying anything.

You opened your eyes to find Mr. Kim already staring at you. He noticed your consciousness and asked, "How are you feeling?"

"Better," you mumbled, recalling the everything.

"There's nothing to worry about. It was because of fear, and I would recommend you not to force yourself into things that you can't do," the doctor explained, prompting you to nod slowly. The doctor exited the room, and Mr. Kim shifted his attention toward you.

Your heart raced as you realized you were still tightly holding his hand, and he maintained the same firm grip.

"You should have informed me earlier, then I wouldn't have taken you on the ride," he remarked, gently caressing your hand with a small smile, his gaze lowered.

"I'm... sorry," you muttered, slowly retracting your hand.

"It's okay. It happens," he reassured, gently caressing your head, which stirred a peculiar feeling within you. "From now on, be more careful, okay?" he advised, and you nodded, satisfying him with your response. He smiled and added, "Your friends are waiting for you. I'll leave now," before exiting the room.
