*Erin POV*

She asked me son when I gro-

I let out a groan and slammed my hand down on the stupid alarm clock. I sat up and stretched my back a bit, yawning afterward. I rubbed my eyes and pulled the covers off of me and stood up. Well, at least I tried to stand up.

I was pull back onto the bed and brought close to somebody's warm chest. I turned around and saw that Owen had wrapped his arms around my waist and he didn't seem to be letting go anytime soon.

"Owen, let go." I shook his shoulder and tried to pry him away from me.

He let out a groan and rolled over, brining me with him. "No." He mumbled and buried his head into my neck.

I let out a sigh and looked at my watch. "Owen, I need to go to the hatchery."

"No, they can wait." He grumbled as he held onto me tighter.

An idea suddenly popped into my head and a smirk came to my face.

"Owen, if you don't let go, no more kisses for a week." I stated with a slight singing voice.

He quickly let go and rolled over once again. I jumped out of bed and went straight to the bathroom. I quickly showered and changed into some clothes suitable work clothes. I walked out of the bathroom and placed a baseball cap on my head to catch the flyway hairs.

"See you later." I kissed Owen on the cheek and walked out of our shared room.

"King!" I called out and he let out a bark as he came bounding around the corner. I gave him a small treat and opened the door. I then walked out to my jeep and started my it, but I waited King to jump in before I sped off.

Ever since Owen and I came back, things have been running pretty smoothly. We were still trying to rebuild the dinosaurs communities from being smashed to pieces, but we were slowly getting there.

Once I got to he hatchery, I parked my jeep and got out, King following behind me. I then walked into the lab. I was greeted with many smiles and hellos. Once I entered the hatchery, I grabbed a stool and sat down. Today, a new batch of Parasaurolophus were supposed to be born, and I was in charge of them.

"Hey, Erin." I turned around and saw Claire.

"Hey, Claire." I stood up and gave her a quick hug.

"You excited?" She asked as she pointed to the incubator.

"Hell yeah!" I exclaimed and pumped my fist the air. King let out a couple of barks and happily wagged is tail. "King is too."

"I can see that." She laughed. "They should be here any minute."

I turned back around and sat down on the stool. I put my elbow on the edge and rested my chin on my palm.

"Where's Owen?"

"He's still sleeping." I told her, keeping my eyes in the eggs.

An egg suddenly started to move and I leaned forward even more.

"They're coming!" I quietly exclaimed and I lightly tapped my fingers against the glass.

I watched as some of the eggs started to crack and one baby finally pushed its head through. It let out a let chirp and struggled to break the egg. More eggs started to crack and move, and soon most of them were out.

A Parasaurolophus, when fully grown, is a large crested, duck-billed dinosaur. One thing I liked the most about these dinosaurs, was that they use their tube-like crests to make a haunting, yet beautiful cry. It's the best.

"Hey there little guy." I reached inside and gently picked up a baby, holding it in my hands.

She chirped a few times and looked up at me with her big eyes. King pawed at the stool and let out a whine to look at the baby. I slowly lowered the baby and King sniffed her before giving her a small lick to the face. I let out a little squeal and set the baby back down. I scratched another baby's belly and watched as they tried to stand up.

I looked at my watch and let out a sigh. I need to leave and go to visit my Pteranodons. The Aviary wasn't built yet so they kept the Pteranodons and the other flying dinosaurs in another building. At least they still had room to fly around.

"So," I turned to King and he perked up. "Do you wanna stay here, or come with me?" I put my hands on my hips.

He let out a solitary bark and sat down. I nodded my head and walked out, but not before visiting the other newborns. Once I actually made it to my jeep, I took of towards the makeshift Aviary. I parked my jeep and walked into the building, sliding my card on the scanner.

I climbed up the ladder and onto a hanging over pass to look down at the Pteranodons and Dimorphodons. Some flew around, chasing each other, but most just laid around. One Pteranodon let out a screech and flew my way. He landed on the over pass and flapped his wings a few times.

"Hey, Strap." I slowly walked over with my hand held out. He nuzzled his nose against my hand and I rubbed his neck with my other hand. I let out a sigh and closed my eyes. I'm glad that we came back. If we hadn't, I probably would have eventually gone insane.

But, here I was, one of the leading supervisors at the new Jurassic Sanctuary. No rides, no tourist, just peace and quiet.
