As soon as my airplane landed I looked around the airport. Kelsey had told me she sent someone to get me and take me back to where she was under house arrest at. I knew it wasn’t her or her friend who had murdered her brother’s girlfriend. It wasn’t in their personalities to be so brutal. I’d met Kathleen only once, but I knew she didn’t have it in her to kill someone.

“Excuse me, sir, are you Jackson?” a man asked from behind me.

I turned around and saw a fairly grey haired man standing there. “Yes, sir.” I replied with a slight nod. “Are you the person Kelsey sent to pick me up?”

“I am indeed. Let me get your bags and we’ll head to the limo.” he said and took my suit case from my hands.

“Limo? She sent a limo!?” I asked, suddenly confused. “Is this a joke? I mean seriously?”

“This is not a joke, Jackson, sir.” the man replied. “Right this way.”

The man turned and led me out to a parking lot where, low and behold, a limo sat waiting. He opened the back door for me and closed it after I had climbed into the back. I sat there in disbelief. She had sent a limo to pick me up. Maybe I was the wrong Jackson and she was the wrong Kelsey? Unlikely even as much as it seemed like it was true.

“So… this is seriously happening and I’m not being punked?” I asked curiously.

“That is correct. This is really happening and it’s not a joke.” the man said, nodding from the driver’s seat.

                “I have a question…” I said slowly.

                “Which would be?”

“How the hell is she affording this?”

“That she’ll explain when we get to Mr. Sheeran’s house.” he said and smiled. “Have a drink and a snack. It’s a long ride.”

I nodded and grabbed a soda out of the mini fridge to my right. My mouth fell open. It was fully stocked with my favorite things. All the way down to milky ways and Reeses. Maybe this was for real… I mean, how else would they know I liked mountain dew and Reeses? Unless I had a stalker! Nah. That was unlikely. I’m nothing special.

I finished a soda and a milky way before I rested my head against the back of the seat. It only felt like a minute that I slept, but it was longer from what I could gather. The driver had stopped outside a fairly sized flat on the outskirts of London when he woke me up. “Jackson, sir, we’ve arrived.” he said.

I opened my eyes slowly and rubbed the sleep out of them. As I stepped out of the limo I saw two faces in the window. One of them was a ginger boy and the other was Kelsey. She was with another guy? She waved at me, smiling brightly. Another, curly haired boy stepped behind her. She was with two boys? What the hell? She’s my girl, not these British guys’ girl!

“They said to go on in when you got here… Grab a soda or two before you go.” the driver said and smiled to me.

I shook my head and walked forward. The door flew open and Kelsey was grinning. “This is Ed and this is my brother, Harry.” she pointed to the brunette boy over her shoulder when she said brother.

I nodded and smiled. “Can I come in?” I asked quietly.

“Sure.” Ed nodded and smiled to me.

I walked in and looked at Kelsey oddly. Man did we have a lot to talk about now. She hadn’t been kidding when she told me that over the phone the day before. Kelsey seemed to grimace when I did, so I figured there was something I didn’t know that I wasn’t going to like.

“We’ll be upstairs, Hazza.” Kelsey smiled to her brother.

Harry nodded slightly but seemed rather distant. I followed upstairs and into a room that read ‘Kath and Kels’ on the sign. “There is no way this is the same Kath from back home.” I said quietly, looking at her.

The door swung open and there she was, Kathleen, the same one I had met back home in the States. “Jackson! Welcome to England!” she smiled brightly to me.

Now I was finding it hard to believe what I was seeing. My girlfriend and her best friend both lived in England and led a secret life I had never known about. Judging by Kathleen’s ginger hair, similar in color to that of Ed’s, I figured that Ed was her older brother. “So… you guys live in England…. with a famous guy.” I said quietly.

“Two famous guys actually.” Kelsey said softly, touching my arm.

“They’re both singers!” Kathleen smiled proudly.

“Right…” I said, looking at my feet.

Now I had reason to worry about my relationship with Kelsey. She had hidden so many things from me that it was hard to know what really was true anymore.
