"Jasper, here try my cupcake," Izzie said as soon as the Wu man entered the kitchen with Aaliyah, causing the girl to throw a harsh glare.

"He doesn't want a cupcake," Aaliyah told the blonde, casting a glance at Jasper, "You don't want the cupcake right Jas?"

After seeing the look of anger in his girlfriend's eyes, he quickly shook his head not bothering to look at Izzie. Taking a seat next to each other at the table, Jasper threw his arm around Aaliyah's shoulder, kissing the side of her temple, causing her to hum in approval.

"Eight hours, sixteen ounces of chocolate, and thirty-two cupcakes, and they still don't taste right," Izzie complained as she turned off the sink, throwing her hands up in annoyance.

"No, these are good. Martha Stewart would be proud," George reassured her as he continued stuffing the cupcake he had in his hand, in his mouth. "Aaliyah, you have to try one,"

Scrunching her nose, the Valentine woman shook her head. "No thanks, I'm not hungry."

"You're never hungry," Jasper muttered, causing the woman to smack his chest at his comment, shrugging his arm off her shoulder.

"Yeah, look where it got her," Izzie said, as she threw some of the crumbs from her cupcakes in her mouth. "There's something missing— some specific ingredient. Why can't I remember?" Izzie huffed, running a hand through her hair.

"Look, just call her. Call your mother and ask," George suggested after he shared a glance at Aaliyah, who in return shrugged her shoulders, "Or you could ask Aaliyah, she made a cake for me one time, and it was really good,"

"Which cake did she make for you? The chocolate raspberry one?" Jasper asked, "Because she made that one for me and my team when we returned from L.A. and they loved it. My sarge threatened me with cleaning duty if I didn't tell her to make more,"

"I don't want to call my mother,"

"Why doesn't she want to call her mother?" Jasper asked in a whisper, leaning over so he could whisper in Aaliyah's ear causing a chill to run up her spine.

Before she could answer Derek came down the stairs, with Meredith behind. The two made their relationship public, and it was starting to get serious. Despite Izzie's initial problem with the two, she grew to accept it, despite this tensions between her and Aaliyah were still high.

"Good morning," Derek greeted with a smile.

"Hey, do you guys want a cupcake? Izzie made them," George offered, pointing to the plate of cupcakes.

Scrunching up his face, Derek shook his head, as he made his way to the cabinet to take out a bowl. "You know, I like it here. Hey, you said so yourself— you liked having your things around, sleeping in your own bed," Grabbing a box of cereal he moved to sit next to Meredith who sat across from Aaliyah, at the kitchen table.

"You're like a health nut, aren't you?" George asked as he watched Derek from across the room, "You eat Muesli every morning,"

"No I don't," Derek defended.

"Yes, you do," Aaliyah agreed, after tilting her head to think about it, "It's weird because that shit is nasty,"

"Yeah, you've been doing it for the last seven days, at least," Izzie chimed in from her spot by the sink.

"Oh, come on, I haven't been here for the whole week have I?"

"Yes, you have. Between you and Meredith, and Jasper and Aaliyah I don't know who's louder," George said, closing his eyes in disgust as he remembered the sounds coming from the two's rooms last night, causing Aaliayh to hide in Jasper's shoulder in embarrassment.
