"Alrighty—please, stand next to each other like so..." Vincent says with a serious tone.

I awkwardly stand next to him. I shouldn't feel so nervous but, Luka and I are kind of very different . . . so I'm not sure how to act around him.

We consider each other friends, but it's been such a long-time since I've actually been able to show up to the band—I honestly don't know much about him.

Vincent gestures for me to cross my arms, "Like this?" I ask, Vincent gives a thumbs up from my response.

He stares at Luka's arms, "Blue boy! Please—can you be a dear and put your right arm on Adrien's shoulder?"

Luka doesn't hesitate, "My name's Luka." he says. Vincent flaps his hands, "Yes, yes now... I want you both to smile like you're good friends!"

I look back at Luka, "1, 2, 3- Adrien! face towards me please!"

I look back at the photographer, "Uh- sorry."

Luka seems to be so casual with this, he laughs, then goes back into position. Vincent let's out a grunt, "I want this to be perfect! Ahem... 1, 2, 3..." he takes the picture.

I uncross my arms. Luka looks back at me and takes his arm off my shoulder. "Hmm... I like the contrast in this relationship... I think I'll take a few more!" Vincent exclaims.

I gasp and mouth, 'sorry' to Luka. Luka mouths back, 'no worries.'

Vincent seemed to keep us there for a lot while longer than I had intended. I'm back at the bench with Luka. "So, Adrien... what was it that you needed?" He asks sitting next to me.

"Oh uh... yeah about the band..." I pause while looking down and to think for a moment. I can't help but feel guilty because my friends were trying to set him up!

I also feel like I've wasted his time, who knows... maybe he could've been messing with his instruments? or talking to his dad? Or... doing whatever he loves to do.

Luka smiles and nods, "You know, when our songs collide, we make a pretty-good mashup, the melody seems to focus not on the start of what we have, but it's potential."

I look back up, and sigh, "Luka, I'm sorry."

Luka tilts his head, I continue, "The truth is... the guys and I- we're trying to-"
