You wouldn't believe, that my father is such a good-actor, rather than a warm-hearted, genuine person.
First, what he does yesterday... is after I do what he tells me to do, he decided to call me down for a quick, 'talk.'
A talk, in which he wouldn't listen to me, because he was so mad, that I even did the photo-shoot with Luka.
But between being used constantly, Luka seemed unlike everybody else.
He was calm, and even with the intention that I was to use him because of Nino, he was so...
Understanding, to me that day.
I never talk back to my father. Mostly because, it'll get me no-where. However, I wanted to explain that Luka, is not a bad guy.
So, I tried doing so, I tried to say that it wasn't my idea, and after seeing the photos sent to me by Vincent, I thought they looked quite-good.
But my father, thinks otherwise. He tried to demand that Vincent should re-shoot, but Vincent already agreed with the Mayor, that these photos... were of 'necessity' to the people being welcomed in Paris.
My father might be powerful, but as he hates to admit it, he can't actually completely control the Mayor of Paris.
So the photos . . . stay.
After my father's phone-call with the Mayor and Vincent, he said this to me...

"Adrien, under no circumstances will you be doing a photo-shoot with that... boy again. You understand? You are only allowed to work with the people I say you can work with, you hear me?"

His voice was straight to the point. No verbal-shouting, just... ice-cold like a dagger silently sliding to the back of my throat.
He didn't need to raise his voice to make what he wanted clear. His authority was enough. And I...
Felt powerless.
It got me thinking, to the time that I basically did the same thing, with Marinette.
But did he complain about that? No, because she's a fashion-designer, and I'm glad he didn't give me a hard time with that... but it should be the same with Luka!
Because, he's the one who got dragged into
. . . this.
Unfortunately, my biggest mistake was that I considered demeaning my father's authority, basically in his words, 'expressing my opinion.'
