Everyone just stares at you as you gradually get up and bow

"Hello, I'm Y/n and will be the successor of the Sound Hashira. My breathing style is derived from Sound breathing."

After some awkward silence Mitsuri finally speaks up in glee screaming yay and clapping her hands. You slowly smile at her as master continues.

"That was the main point of this meeting, I am told Obanai couldn't attend and Muichiro had to leave early. Don't worry I have already informed them. Now, my dear children I look forward to your gallant deeds and I wish for all your good health." he says with that everlasting calming smile of his as he gets up with the help of his daughters and leaves.

As the meeting commences Mitsuri walks up to you and screams in excitement "This is going to be soooo much fun!! I can't wait for Obanai to return too" She says with glee just as someone behind you taps on your shoulder.

"So, you are my successor hmm. I am Tengen Uzui." says the tall man with tattoos. "Now as you heard I will also be your mentor now! I will teach you stuff flamboyantly" He says with a grin.

You smile with a slight nod "And I look forward to learning it.. flamboyantly?" you say with a nervous laugh which leaves the man beaming.

"So what exactly is your breathing style Y/n?" Tengen asks.

"It's like a derivation of sound.. you could call it Wisdom or Perception breathing.." to which Tengen lets out an amused laugh

"That sounds promising and flamboyant indeed! We can start the mentoring tomorrow, It'll be good for you to get settled today and also meet the other Hashiras he says with a nod and walks away.

'What a strange guy.. He seems amiable though. This might be fun'

Then Mitsuri drags you along to meet the girl with the butterfly ornament who is Shinobu Kocho The Insect Hashira. Mitsuri informed you that she's also their main healer. Shinobu was very nice and you seemed to somewhat become friends.

Next you were introduced to The Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka. He just nodded with a sincere look and didn't say much.

Next was the monk looking guy, he is The Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima. You made some conversation with him, he was a reliable and nice person. Mitsuri said he was the oldest and strongest Hashira. He was also blind and you were shocked by how talented he was.

Finally you come up to Pomerian and flame guy from before who seem to be bickering about something.

"Ugh so you are the replacement of Tengen huh? Fight me to prove your strong then." says the angry pomerian as you just deadpan at him, Mitsuri gives a worried look as flame guy pats him on the back so strongly so he doubles over.

"Hello, I am Rengoku Kyojuro The Flame Hashira! It's a pleasure to meet you" he says while extending his arm with a bright smile. You quickly shake his hand with a returned smile.

"And this comrade of mine is Sanemi Shinazugawa The Wind Hashira." he says while pointing to the other guy. He just gives you a pissed stare.

That's when you notice he has..no eyebrows..? "Why do you- Why do you have no-" You begin to ask out of curiosity but stop before you further proceed.

"Huh? What is it?" Sanemi barks back.

"Why do you have no eyebrows...?" you say slowly as Rengoku just looks at you with wide eyes and Mitsuri slowly giggles.

"You said WHAT?" the man screams ready to pounce on you as Mitsuri drags you away.

You finally settled in for the night in your room after dinner with the girls. You felt settled and in place though some things were still in the back of your head, haunting your brain. You wish Obi returned fast. It had been some time since you met your brother after all. At least he'd be there to comfort you after the recent mission, which you still regret.
