There were only a few days left until summer break, 3 weeks passed to that event, both became  acquainted with each other as she would like to call and for him they became quite close over time. They would greet eachother, she got used to mingyu's habit of staring at her from time to time but never understood why. Whenever their eyes met and he was caught red handed, he would wave with a goofy smile that displayed all his teeth and she would just bear with him what else was she supposed to do anyways. Who would blame her, it was all so new and overwhelming for her she couldn't just open up and be friend with a boy for heaven sake she was not ready and reluctant to all this. She never gave any signs of interest but the boy was very persistent. Sometimes they would come face to face in a Cafe, where he would offer to buy coffee or drink and she politely refuse it. It was funny to see their interaction it was like she was forced to talk to a relative on phone while she didn't want to and mingyu being the clueless relative who extends the conversation "I see you're following me around hmm?" she jumped at the sudden intrusion, mingyu appears from behind with huge smile on his face and make himself comfortable on seat across the table, they were in library so he whispers "Hi, Wafiyah" "Hello" she forces out closing the book in her hand. It wipes the smile from his face but doesn't say anything " what are you reading?" He asks. She shows the book so he could read " the 21st century monetary policy by Bernanke, studying hard huh?" She nods "I have to, not everyone's a genius like you" mingyu puts his hand on his chest and wave dramatically "Aigoo,Aniya" she opens her book again but he continues "Did you saw the news about Expo that will be held in our department?" He uttered and grab a nearby book without giving much attention to the title. She nods her head as she continued to take notes in her diary " I have a plan" he whispers again. She looked at him with bewildered expression. "About what?" "We must stay together and close to eachother in the event" he explains as if he's said something extraordinarily mind blowing thing. She looks at the with 'so done' face "are you serious rightnow, why would we do that?" He tutts before replying " you don't understand do you? That's because if you'll walk with a genius like me as you said we'll have higher chances of being chosen by best company " he straightenes his posture as he finishes raising one eyebrow demanding approval and praise. " Mingyu shi I'm sure there will be a proper professional manner of selection we don't have to put such a brilliant effort into it" he says firmly amd gets up to leave because this man doesn't make any sense to her. Mingyu also gets up hurriedly "hey hey hey, did I cross the line I'm sorry please listen I was just playing with you to lighten your mood I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable " he rambles in one breath. "I've to get to my class Relax okay don't worry you didn't make me uncomfortable breath relax" she says softly to relieve him from unnecessary panic. "Oh okay then see you in class or we could go together " he says sheepishly but before she could say anything he adds "just kidding Haha, got you" and winks at her but instantly swat his eyes as realization hit him. He wave and sprint from there while she stood on her spot processing everything at last she gives up with a sigh and walk towards her class.when she reached there mingyu was already seated in his usual spot hood over his head glasses perched on his nose bridge acting all quite and mysterious ignoring him she made a bee line to her seat then their professor also came and the lecture began she kept up with her teacher taking notes drawing graphs in other words completely immensed in her work it was one of her favorite subjects international trade and economic development. When the professor took a minute break to clear the board she took the opportunity to Crack her head to release the tension in her neck and that's when her gaze fell on mingyu who was again caught staring. She immediately looked back at the board the uneasy feeling making her empty stomach churn, his staring was getting out of hand. What was the purpose of this behavior at that moment she wanted nothing more than her family's warmth she felt scared and weak and wanted to cry. She takes out her phone and type a message to her only friend Selena
