Wafiyah was discharged from the hospital after 3 days, now that she didn't have dorm the problem arises where she would be staying. Abdul Rehman and nazia were also in korea, he was very skeptical about all the situation. He wanted to take her along him but jungkook wasn't having it, he had an argument with him in this regard. Jungkook insisted that she would stay at his apartment which abdul Rehman straight up denied "hyung why don't you all stay at my place, hotel won't be very convenient in this situation and wafiyah isn't in a condition to be traveling that far" mingyu had a point that too a genuine one which didn't leave any space for rejection, so Abdul Rehman readily agreed and once again mingyu was successful in his fun games. Jungkook was restless he had fear which only worsen whenever mingyu won in his games, for him it was fun but jungkook took it to heart. A week after he asked his father to talk to Abdul Rehman about the wedding to which his father scolded him "jungkook son do you think it's the right time to have this convention? Don't be impatient what if her brother back out" he reasoned. He would go to meet her daily even when most of the time she was sleeping under the influence of medicine but he didn't miss a day. It was another day he sat on the couch beside her bed, watching her sleep "creepy sunbae-nim do you mind joining the rest outside, hyung wants to talk to you" mingyu calls from the door, he ignored his comment about him being creepy and walk out "brace yourself" mingyu winks as they enter the lounge making his heart beat increase, he was so done with this guy never did he miss any chance to test his patience. Abdul Rehman smiled when he saw him and patted the seat near him so he sat there "jungkook how are you doing mate" this wasn't right jungkook thought "Alhamdulliah hyung I'm OK" "just OK?" He inquires to which he only lowered his gaze. Abdul Rehman wrapped his arm around his shoulder "I've thought about this and after some consultation with everyone I've come to a decision" jungkook held his breath "as the circumstances are in front of you, we can't possibly hold the wedding as planned" and the breath got stuck in his lungs. Abdul Rehman saw his face change color, he knew jungkook was impatient which isn't a good thing as he is giving his most precious sister to him "my uncles are very upset about what happened and told me how wrong I was to not listen to them and allowed her to go abroad alone. They asked me to bring her back and not let her leave the country again" jungkook didn't know what to say "I discussed with them about the marriage so if you agree we can arrange a simple nikah here and after a few months we will do a grand reception but that too if you're okay with it otherwise" "I'm OK with it" jungkook didn't let him finish his breath finally restoring, the color returning back to his face "you don't have to ask hyung, if you want me to sign papers rightnow I am more than OK with that too in fact I'd prefer that over anything else" Abdul Rehman laughs "I don't have paper with me sorry you have to wait some" jungkook nods sighing in relief "I defeated the death for the third time" he says, Abdul Rehman pats his back "now will you do as I say" "just ask away hyung I will readily oblige" "don't meet her until the nikah" his smile wiped off "OK I've no problem if the nikah is tomorrow " Abdul Rehman sighs " jungkook you said you'll oblige, let her get better first" "hyung I'll take care of her, she will be in her home" "this isn't any less of a home for her jungkook, mingyu has earned this trust that I can leave her here alone because mingyu will protect her. She's just as safe with him as she will be with you" jungkook glanced at mingyu who smirks and throws a wink at him "I'm sure you will listen to what I said" Abdul Rehman says with tone that leave no space for arguments.
Mingyu gave wafiyah medicines, he has taken this responsibility upon himself and knew which medicine should be given on which time. He turned the lights off and closed the door behind her. "Noona I'll do it" nazia was making tea so he offered. Nazia smiled politely, she didn't cover her face all the time like wafiyah but their features were quite similar, although wafiyah was more pretty "do you mind joining me for some tea" she says while pouring tea in cup "I'd love to" she hands him a cup and both sit across each other. They silently sip on their tea mind filled with thoughts "what are your plans now mingyu?" He shrugs "I haven't given it a thought noona, let's see what dad says. Maybe I'll join his company or just travel and explore the world" nazia looks at him "how did you and wafiyah meet?" His hand paused midway, smile creeping on his face as he reminisce their first encounter "I saw her on first day rushing toward class trying to not bump into guys but she acknowledged my existence 3 months after you know " he chuckled "our wafiyah has been a slow witted from the start, I'm glad she didn't take whole semester" "she has the most brilliant mind in our department, she is just reserved trying to be a good muslim" he takes her side "mingyu I want to thank you and apologize to you" "for what?" "Thank you for everything you did and apologize for everything that you got" he gulps forcing a smile out "if I get 10 more lives and in each of them I don't get her, I'd still do the same over and over again. I will keep loving her even if she get married have children and grandchildren. I'm content with whatever place I've in her life as long as we're some part of each others lives I'm happy and satisfied" he takes the last sip "she will be here in front of my eyes that's all I want noona" nazia wiped her eyes making mingyu smile "you two are quite similar in many ways" she chuckles "but I'm the prettier one" he shakes his head "sorry but no one can compete her" she also finished her tea "I'll tell jungkook about what you said" he stood up stretching his arms "I've told him many times and will continue to tell him" nazia looks him in disbelief "don't tell me really " "I'll give you a demo some day" he says and wave goodbye to her making his way toward his room.
