"Couldn't sleep for days when you were gone," he suddenly spoke, his fingers scratching the paint off the wall. I knew when he was nervous. Those were rare times, yes... because he would so rarely open up and I had to be all ears when he does.
"Not now, Simon," I said, my eyes scanning the area for foot traces.
"Right," he said, his tone a bit regretful, and walked past me.
"Hey, wait up," I said, lightly jogging after him. I held his arm, and although he wanted to jerk it away, I insisted.
"Let's just focus on work, okay?" I added.
"You know, I can't." He froze in his place. I knew it wasn't heading anywhere good, "I couldn't sleep last night. I couldn't stop thinking of you."
"Simon, this isn't the right time, alright? We'll talk about it later. For now, we have to stay sharp. Understood?" I looked straight into his eyes. He sighed.
"Don't give me orders, Lieutenant," there was a slight chuckle there.
"Alright," I smirked.
The area was too dense, and whenever I felt out of breath I just held his hand. He brought me so much ease when my claustrophobia kicked in. At times the passage is too narrow that it doesn't handle us both, so he'd have to walk behind me, my hand in his. Feeling him behind me was possibly what kept my phobia from kicking in too often.
"How long are we going to keep walking? It feels like it's never-ending," Simon broke the silence as we reached the end of a long, winding, narrow path.
"If it takes us to the other side of this mountain, then that's it."
"I am sure we've reached it."
"I am also sure we lost our way back," I teased, slightly anxious.
"That's a good thing, you know..." he said then gritted his teeth, "we could just stay here. You can be as loud as you wish to be."
"Good God, Simon..." I looked behind him to find him mischievously smiling.
"What? What did I say?" he asked, innocently, and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"You're a pervert."
"No, I am not."
"Yes, you are."
"No, I-"
He couldn't finish his sentence as we both heard the sound of a branch breaking. I was about to speak, but Simon covered my mouth with his palm pulling me back to his chest. We listened carefully, trying to detect where it came from.
"It's probably just a wild animal," I said, my voice barely a whisper.
"It sounded too heavy to be a rabbit."
"Well, maybe it's a mythical creature."
He fought the urge to laugh. Instead, he turned me to face him and leaned forward to kiss me. I didn't hesitate to return the favor, my heart pounding. As his hands traveled south, I could feel the tension building between my legs. He lifted me, and my legs instantly wrapped around his waist.
"Did you think I was joking about your screams not being heard here?" he whispered against my lips. I smiled, feeling a rush of adrenaline in my blood, "You know me better than that." He smirked and kissed me again, this time, his tongue finding its way inside my mouth.
"The land's ancestors wouldn't be too happy with us." I joked, fighting off the temptation.
"And who cares, really?" his hands slid under my shirt, finding their way to my back, and unclipped my bra.
"We have work to do," I protested weakly, as his hands cupped my breasts.
"Lieutenant, I don't give a damn about the work. I came here to protect you, and I might as well do that with my cock inside you."
His kisses trailed down my jawline to my neck. He started unbuttoning my shirt, and completely out of breath, he began removing his gear.
"Off, off, off," he kept repeating the words as if they were his mantra. His armor clanked to the ground and I found myself straddling him, his fingers undoing my belt.
"You are so eager for me, you're just hiding it," he said, pulling my pants down and pinning me to the wall.
"Fuck you, Simon," I chuckled, pulling his face to me, kissing him hard.
"You will," he replied, lifting me up.
"No, I mean it. Fuck. You." I moaned against his ear as he entered me. He moved his hips slowly, his length teasing me.
"You're so fucking wet, and it's all mine," he said, his mouth taking in one of my nipples. His tongue twirled around it, his pace growing faster. My nails dug into his back, his skin covered in sweat.
"You're so tight," he groaned. I pulled his hair and started moving my hips, "you've always been so tight." he added, groaning in my ear.
I gasped as he went deeper, and his pace grew even faster. My head rolled back, hitting the cold rock, and I moaned his name. He kissed me again, swallowing every moan.
"Please, don't even find those bloody scriptures. We can always come here and you can be as loud as you want." He breathed in my ear, "I want to hear you scream my name."
I could feel the heat building up in my lower stomach. I knew I was close, and he did too.
"Oh God, Simon!" I cried out, my nails digging into his back, leaving scratches.
"That's it. I want you to scream my name so loud, no one can hear it," he panted.
He started rubbing my clit with his thumb, determined to make me cum. I bit his shoulder and let out a cry, my climax overwhelming. He let out a grunt, and he was soon reaching his peak. He kept moving deeper inside me, letting me ride out my orgasm until I felt his warm load. He slowed down, his breath heavy, and looked into my eyes, smiling.
"Now that was some good distraction," he said, his hand stroking my hair.
"It was," I smiled and gasped realizing he was still inside me. When he pulled out, we both moaned in relief. He kissed me again, softly and tenderly, and placed his forehead on mine.
"I can always give you this. Better every time too."
I was silent for a moment, processing what just happened. We were crazy for each other. This was crazy. But it was a good kind of crazy, the kind of crazy that makes you smile whenever you remember it.
"Let me help you place that damn harness back. You'll probably take it off for me later, though."
