Chapter 2
-----------------
I woke up and saw my mom smiling at me.
"Happy Birthday Darling. I love you so much my angel." She exclaimed in a joyous tone.
"Aww, thanks Mom I love you too." I kindly replied before extending my arms for a hug.
She hugged me tightly, it felt just right. I really love my Mom, she has been here for me through thick and thin. She told me to get dressed. She left the room as she wiped her tears of joy.
I got up and went to the bathroom. I had a long bath, I did all my hygiene and came out wearing a red owl jumper with black leggings and red converses.
I curled my hair and put on some mascara and lip gloss.
I looked sexy as hell; the jumper and leggings actually showed my curves perfectly and my curls went with the whole outfit perfecting my whole look. The leggings brought out my ass but the jumper covered it in the right places. so it wasn't too showy. I'm not conceited or anything, I'm just blunt and straight to the point.
I put all my books in my Louie Vuitton bag and picked up my iPhone.
I went downstairs and smelt the delicious aroma of Blueberry Pancakes.
I saw my dad placing the last pancake on the plate.
"Happy birthday Doll. I love you." Dad said as soon as he saw me. He had a wide smile plastered on his face. My dad is so loveable, he's my rock. Although I don't get to chill with him as much, because of his work, he still tries to be involved in my life as much as possible. After the Craig thing happened, my dad stepped up and became more protective. The thing I love about him is that he has a clean heart, he doesn't do anything hurtful intentionally.
"Thanks Dad, I love you too." I replied with a toothy smile.
I hugged him and he handed me a plate of fresh pancakes.
After I finished eating, my parents informed me that they may come home late today so I should stay at a friend's house overnight. I was happy that I was getting freedom so fast.
I kissed them both on the cheek and left the house.
I went over to my shiny black car and unlocked it. I started it up and put the radio on before driving to University.
I hate listening to love songs, but that's all they play on the radio.
'Mirror' by Justin Timberlake started playing on the radio, this song annoys me because it barely makes sense!
"You were right here all along, it's like your my mirror, my mirror staring back at me"
I pressed different buttons, just hoping this sappy song changes.
I managed to change it to another radio station.
I smiled in satisfaction as the acoustic version of 'Grenade' by Bruno Mars pumped through the speakers.
I like this song. It tells us how even if you put in so much to the person you love, the person will betray your ass and leave you like it's nothing.
"To give me all your love was all I ever asked, cuz what you don't understand is I'd catch a grenade for ya"
It's like even though the song exaggerates, it understands me.
I sang along until I reached to my university.
I walked in the campus and saw the girls.
Mikayla is my best friend, she is just someone who could make you feel better in seconds. She is Mexican and Black; she is absolutely gorgeous it's unreal. She has natural black tight curls that reaches to her mid back. She doesn't know about Craig, but she knows that something troubles me, and that it's to do with a boy, I know this since she always tries to hook me up and I refuse. But I love that she doesn't get too curious, probably because she knows that I won't tell her, but still I appreciate it a lot.
