Chapter 3

-----------------

My heart stopped beating for a second. Well it felt like that since I immediately became nervous. I was speechless.

It took me a couple of seconds to get myself together and then it came to me. Was this Craig's idea? He was a very renowned gang leader so he could have organized this. But why today? On my birthday? Why does he want to find me?

The man grabbed on to my wrists tightly and dragged me out the room.

I was silent, mute and shut down.

My new plan was to not say a word.

The guy dragged me to the main gym.

When I went in there I saw that there was a lot of them men there.

I felt uncomfortable as they were all checking me out.

Some of them chuckled and some winked at me.

I gave them rude glares as the man dragged me along.

The man that was dragging me suddenly yanked me down to the floor.

I looked up to see another man in front of me. But there was something different about this person. Something very familiar.

His scent was dark and mysterious...

I

I couldn't breath properly, my breathing was hitched and rigid as the memories came flooding in, I just couldn't believe it...

It was Craig's scent.

The man took of his mask and my heart was throbbing.

It was him, the guy I once loved immensely, the person who lied to me, it was Craig who changed my entire life. He looked different, his features were more developed and sharp. His hair was trimmed and looked slick. His eyes were more of a deep brown now.

I looked down at my feet and grew very nervous.

I could feel his eyes looking at me, examining me from my feet to my face; I knew it was Craig.

I saw that he did a hand gesture to the men to tell them to go.

They all followed his command and left the room.

I looked around to see that everybody was gone and there was only me and Craig in the room.

I was terrified since I was trying to start everything without him and he finally found me.

If he just wanted to talk to me I'm sure he wouldn't have made a big commotion but he's probably thinking of doing something big if he organised for all of this to happen.

I'm still following my plan of not talking, but I have a feeling its not going to go well.

He spoke, his voice was much deeper since I last spoke to him.

"Asia, you look different"

...

I was just looking at my feet feeling scared.

"Look at me"

I didn't move and didn't respond either.

All of a sudden, I felt his finger on my chin, he lifted his finger so I was eventually looking at him. His whole demeanour seemed different it was more dominant.

He didn't seem like the Craig I thought I knew.

I finally spoke.

"What the fuck do you want Craig"
