The morning sun began to appear throughout the sky, painting the sky with beautiful colors as Valen's wings swept the clouds as he descended. Colzon was in sight and just in time for the three to finish a task. The two on his back slept soundly as Valen's wings flapped oh so gracefully over the sky. The wind started to die down the closer the ground got and with a couple last movements of mighty beasts wings they landed safely.
A grand gust of wind and fire circled the crimson dragon to reveal a Valen in his human form setting the two sleeping bodies down.
"Rise and shine sleepy heads." Valen said putting his hands on his hips. The two were tangled together in Killian's cloak, Killian held Phanessa close like a teddy bear. A chuckled left Valen at the sight of his fierce prince Killy acting like a softy for this girl. "Man have you changed, Killy."
"Who the hell are you calling Killy?" Killian's morning voice was rough as it caught the attention of Valen. A smile grew on his face.
"Colzon isn't too far away. Let's get a move on."
"Now your ordering me around?" Killian got up leaving his cloak wrapped around Phanessa as she sat there asleep. "This one sure is lazy, huh?" He stretched before rubbing the back of his neck looking down.
"She might be lazy, but we have put her through a lot." Killian scoffed than kicked the Elvarian girl on the ground. "Sir Killian that isn't necessary!" Valen grabbed him and yanked him back.
"Let go of me! You said we need to get going, damn dragon breath!" Killian and Valen bickered as Phanessa slowly arose out of her sleep to see the two.
"Morning boys." Her hair was messy yet looked tame. A soft smile grew over Killian's lips while Valen smirked with mischief at Killian's smile.
Wow, way to be subtle Killy.
Killian jumped at the sudden words that flooded his mind.
Shut up Valen.
So we aren't going to go against what Cread said?
We can't, you know that.
You still wanted to earlier. No one bosses Prince Killian of Ancbath around.
Your right, but I'm not doing this because of what Cread said. It's for my own reasons and if anyone has a problem with it than they can die at my hands.
So scary prince Killy!
Valen's expression was dramatic and Killian rolled his eyes at him while walking toward Phanessa. "Morning Elf." He ruffled her hair as she was still getting out of her sleepy state.
"Are we in Colzon yet?" She grumbled. Phanessa was not a morning person.
"Not yet, we still have to walk a bit further." Another grumble came out when she heard what Killian said.
"I don't want to walk." Phanessa whined. Killian's eye twitched, annoyed at her child like attitude.
"If you really don't want to walk, I can always carry you." Valen chimed in.
"Really?" Phanessa got excited.
"No he won't, you will be walking on your own Elf. Let's go." Killian's words stung as he ripped the cloak from Phanessa's clutches making her shiver at the cold.
"That was rude." Phanessa got up uttering words of dissatisfaction. The walk out of the woods was chilling yet refreshing as the morning dew started to fade and the sun arose out of the clouds. Phanessa stretched and yawned before resting her head on Killian's shoulder when he came to a halt. She reached her arms around his waist giving him a side hug. Killian's face pinched with red at her very friendly jester now.
