The sound of the bell ringing resonates in the classroom as the teacher is saying something about the students homework. Some of them leave the classroom, some pick their plushies and blankets up for a nap and others scatter around, talking to their friends.

Ricky sat in the back of the classroom, about to fall asleep when the person in front of him turns his chair around and sits in front of him. It's none other than his best friend Gyuvin, probably about to start yapping about something that happened in the classroom that Ricky hadn't noticed. Maybe it's because Ricky actually pays attention in class but who knows.

"Did you see how Jihoon fell asleep and almost smacked his head in the table earlier?" He began, Ricky chuckled as his theory was confirmed. "Seriously, that was so funny." He laughed and shook his head.

"Still up for basketball after school?" He asked once he finished laughing. "Can't, have to study." Gyuvin playfully groaned and threw his head back. "Aah~ whyy~" He pouted and looked at Ricky with his large boba eyes. Ricky cringed at his poor convincing skills. He was not gonna let him get his way with that aegyo stuff. Nah ah. Not one chance.

"Please?~~ You said you would do it!" He pleaded with his hands firmly clasped together in front of him. It almost looked like he was going to get down on his knees and beg. Ricky sighed and pursed his lips together, cringing at the way he was speaking. "Fine.." Wait, what? He just agreed? Agreed after being tortured by his friend's aegyo? Has he lost his mind?

"Yayy, see, you can't win over my cuteness." He did a piece sign and winked at Ricky, receiving a smile back. He leaned over the table and for a while they sat in silence. It wasn't awkward tho, more of a comfortable silence. Just listening to their other classmates babbling about this and that, looking out the window at the other students walking by, sighing once in a while.

At one point Ricky overheard one of the girls talking about how some guy gave her his name tag. He felt a bit confused but didn't think much of it. But when her friends squealed loudly in excitement, he turned his head and looked over at them.

The girl who told them, had the metal plate in her hands, proudly showing it too them. Ricky wasn't all that familiar with korean culture, especially not when it came to high school, or dating.

"What does it mean when you give someone your name tag?" The question was sudden so it took some time before Gyuvin answered. He too had noticed the group talking and had been looking at them. He smiled at Ricky before starting to fiddle with the tag on his chest and take it off.

"When you give someone your name tag, it means.." Gyuvin gestured Ricky to reach his hand out, which he complied to. "That you confess your love for them." He laid the tag in the palm of Ricky's hand and the blonde stared at it intently. "Oooh~ someone's confessing!" A couple of their classmates had surrounded their table without Ricky or Gyuvin noticing, and now the whole class had their attention on the two.

Ricky locked eyes with Gyuvin and quickly threw the tag towards him. "It's not like that, he was just explaining what it meant to give your name tag to someone!" Ricky was flustered and his face heated up. Gyuvin, probably also feeling a little abashed by the crowd, laughed. "Yeah don't take it seriously, I don't like Ricky in that way."

A strange, unsettling feeling spread across Ricky's body as soon as he heard that. This was new to him. Why did he not like it when Gyuvin said that? Why did it hurt? He had never felt this before, an aching sensation that made his chest feel tight.
