Two years later

P.J. looked around helplessly, trying to find room 219. It had taken a lot of hard work, but he had graduated high school and gotten into the community college. He didn't know what his furture held past that, but at least he was on track for now.

When he finally found his class, he only had two minutes to spare. That meant all the good seats had been taken. All that was left was the row in the very front.

Of course. He thought.

He made his way to the front row, only one person sat there. A girl with short black hair.

He took the seat next to her, getting his books out.

"Hey, I'm P.J." He turned to the girl.

"I knew you were dumb, but I didn't think you were dumb enough to forget me." Taylor laughed, elbowing him in the side.

P.J. smiled at the girl, "Nice hair."

"Needed a change." Taylor tucked it behind her ears.

P.J. smiled back at her, silently thanking the universe for giving him a second chance with Taylor.

He vowed not to mess things up again. This time he'd do it right. Because Taylor was special, and she deserved nothing less.

He knew he would never want anyone else for as long as he knew Taylor.
