It was midnight. And she sneaked into the library room. She was looking around in the library, surprised to see thousand of different books in every shelf. Then, she pushed a book shelf and it fell down with a smash. All the books spread on the floor. She kept doing that and ruined the entire library room.
" I'm so glad that the room is sound proof........ Well! Most of the rooms _are_ sound proof here. I wonder.... If Demon King room is sound proof..... I think so, he would have a sound proof room." She said to herself. And with that she pulled a book from a shelf on the wall. Then suddenly, she heard a strange loud noise. She got scared. She moved back from the shelf and saw the wall slide back and there appeared a hidden secret door. It was really dark inside she can't see anything. She didn't want to go inside, scared that it might have bobby traps. She was glad that she had found another secret door in the mansion, but the question was were does it lead to.
" I don't have time to explore this secret door. I have other things to take care of..... I might come here some day later to see what is inside. " She said to herself." Now how do I close this stupid door?" Then suddenly she heard the same loud noise and the door closed. _So, it stays open for a specific time._ she thought, surprised. Then she started walking around and pushed another book shelf. It took lot of her energy but to her surprise she was more strong than she look.
Then, she went near the fire place in the library and sat on the chair Infront. She had bundle of books on her lap. Which she started throwing in the fire, and with every book the fire increases and changes colour. It was an amazingly beautiful sight. She was smiling and enjoying, whatever she was doing. Then suddenly she stood up from her chair and turned to look at the library. It was a total mess. She had also teared pages from some books, which were spread all around the room. She was sure that Demon King would be so angry, when he see this. And, she was going to make sure that he blames Thomas for this mess. She smirked and decided to went back to her room. She was really tired.
" Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day. " She said to herself as she closed the library door.
Next Morning, she woke up and was really happy. For the first time in the mansion, she knew her today routine. She took a bath, and dressed her best. She wore a black dress with White cloth belt in middle. The dress had lovely print's with dark vibes. Even though it was Demon King's dress but she was looking amazingly beautiful. She was really looking like as if she is the Queen and wife of the Demon King. She went out of her room with a warm smile. But her eyes were showing evil. The evil she had somewhere deep inside her. She herself was unaware of that. She started looking for Thomas. And luckily she found him downstairs. Thomas was going somewhere when she blocked his way and stopped him.
" Hi there!..." She said with a smile. Thomas noticed the evil reflecting in her eyes.
" What do you want." Said Thomas, rudely.
" Don't be mad. I just came here to tell you that I know where the library is. "
" Okay, so what.... " He said and walked passed her. He didn't care if she knew where the library was.
" Don't you want to know, who told me.... Let me tell you, Demon King." She said with a smirk. Thomas stopped and sighed. _Demon King told her... So what, if he did told her about the library..... And why do I care. By the way, maybe she's lying. Humans, are good at lying._ He thought and started walking again. She kept staring at him .
At Afternoon, she opened the the throne room door and peaked inside. She saw Demon King and Thomas. _Oh My! I think today is my lucky day._ she thought and went. inside. She stood Infront of Demon King parallel to Thomas. She looked at Thomas. He was looking really worried and angry. Thomas didn't looked at her. She smiled warmly.
" Why are you here...." Asked the Demon King.
" Oh! I was just here to see you. " She said.
" We're busy.... " Said the Demon King. She was well aware that Demon King was talking to Thomas about what happened to the library before she came in.
" Yes your highness...." She said and turned to leave.
_I'm sure she had done it._ thought Thomas.
" Stop!" Said Thomas. " Tell me, are you the one who destroyed the library room, so that Demon King blame me and kill me. At least, that's something you wish for. " He was looking at her, furious.
" What do you mean. " She said, like she didn't knew what he was talking about.
" Don't act fool!.... I know you had done it. " Said Thomas.
" I have no idea what your talking about. " She said. Her face was calm.
" Your highness... I'm sure that she is the one behind this. " Said Thomas, pointing at her.
" Thomas, you don't have any proof, so don't blame her. " Said the Demon King.
" Trust me..... I know, she had done it." Said Thomas.
" Don't blame me.... All I know is that your the only one who was allowed to go inside the library." She said. ".... I remember telling you that Demon King had told me about the library. Maybe that's why you thought to blame me and hide your fault. " She said.
" You lier!.... You told me on purpose. So that you can trap me. " Said Thomas.
" Why would I do that. " She said. Thomas looked at her. He was really angry at her. Because of her, for the first time Demon King doubt him.
" I'm going to kill you.... " Said Thomas. And tried to attack her by his sharp claws like nails. She was scared and moved back. But, before Thomas could harm her. Demon King grabbed his hand by his wrist, tightly. He was standing on her left side, facing Thomas. She looked at Thomas hand, which was turning pale. Demon King had grabbed his hand so tight that she thought maybe it will separate from his body. And then Demon King slapped Thomas hard. She was shocked. Her mouth was open, she gulped and close her mouth. Thomas nose started bleeding. He immediately placed his two fingers on his nose, to stop the bleeding.
_What just happened! .... I... I can't believe it. Did Demon King just slapped, Thomas..... Oh My!_ She thought. _.... Well, I'm glad that whatever I had done.... It was all worth it._
" Go to your room...." Said Demon King.
"....Y... Yes." She said and immediately went out of the throne room. _Is he.... going to kill, Thomas._ She thought while closing the throne room door.
Thomas was standing in disbelief. He had never imagined that Demon King would ever slap him. He was the one Demon King trust the most. He can't understand, that why he no longer trust him. _Was it all because of that idiot human girl._ Thought Thomas.
" I Warned You, to stay away from her." Said Demon King, gravely. He was looking at him with his death glare.
_Is he really going to kill me._ thought Thomas. Demon King had never glared at him like that. It was the first time that Demon King was angry at him, and it was all because of that human girl.
" I... I..." Thomas was unable to say anything. He was scared that Demon King would kill him any moment.
" Get out of my sight, Now!... I don't want to see you here. Or else I might do something, that I will regret." Said the Demon King, gravely. Thomas can't make himself say something, so he just nodded and went out of the throne room, immediately. As he closed the door, looking downcast. He realized that someone was standing besides the throne room door. He turned his face to see on his left. And to his shock, it was her.
" So, how does it feel, Thomas.... How does it feel, to lose your trust.... Did it hurts?" She asked with a smirk while leaning close to him." Tell me.... Did it hurt? Did it hurt to see that, Demon King no longer trust you? Did it hurt to see that, now he trust me more than you?" She giggled. Thomas decided to ignore her questions and turned to leave. He was not in a state to answer her any questions. He was in deep shock because of what just happened. _Your going to pay for what you have done. I'm going to make your life hell._ thought Thomas, as he walked pass her. She turned to see Thomas leave. She realized that she was ignored by him. But she didn't care, she knew that he was in deep shock and that's why he don't want to answer her painful questions.
_I know one thing now. Demon King would never kill Thomas no matter what I do...... But it's good for me. I can annoy him as much as I want without worrying that Demon King would kill him. Or else, I had the guilt of his death if he died because of me._ she thought and started walking towards her room.
On her way she saw Alex coming her way. He looked busy and seem to be in a hurry. He was holding some papers on his left hand and was reading one, holding in his right hand. She wanted to ask him something so she decided to block his way. She spread her arms wide and stood Infront of him. But to her surprise Alex bent and went beneath her open arm.
" Stop! " She said and turned. Alex stopped.
"...Yes... How can I help you." Said Alex and sighed.
" I know your busy. But I want to ask you something very important. "
" Okay... So what is it. "
" I want to ask something about Thomas. Like why do Demon King trust him so much, and why or how he became the first high rank demon. "
" That's a lot of questions...." Said Alex looking at her "So , you want to know about Thomas backstory.... But I don't have time to tell you everything right now. "
" Well then! Would you be free till evening...."
" Maybe..."
" You can meet me at the dinning table, usually I had my dinner alone so you can come there and we can talk." She said.
" Okay then I will meet you at evening. " He said and turned to leave.
At Evening, she went inside the kitchen and saw all the maids busy preparing her dinner. She looked around saw and Erin working there too. "Everyone, Stop!" She said loudly. All the maids looked at her direction.
" I want you all to stop preparing my dinner. Because I'm going to make it, myself.... " She said.
" What!.... But why? " Asked Erin, worried.
" Because, I want to.... So everyone, please kindly leave the kitchen..... " She said with a warm smile.
" But what would happen if Demon King knows about it. " Said one of the maid.
" Yes... Demon King would be very angry if he knows about it. " Said Erin.
" You don't need to worry about that, I won't tell him anything and niether would anyone else...." She said " So empty the kitchen for me. "
All the maids went out of the kitchen one by one, except Erin who was still standing there, looking at her. She saw that Erin didn't left the kitchen, so she walked towards her.
" Why are you still standing here?" She asked without smiling.
" Do you know how to cook.... Can I help you." Said Erin in a soft voice.
" No, I don't need your help.... I might not have my memories back, but I Know how to cook. (Just like, I know how to fight.)" She said.
" Okay then....." Said Erin and left the kitchen. She realized the sadness in her voice.
_l can't allow you to cook for me. I know that Thomas is really mad at me and I can't take the risk of him poisoning my food again.... So it's better if I make my dinner, myself._ She thought while looking at Erin leave.
She saw an apron near the table and wore it. She started looking around in the kitchen to find things she need. The kitchen was big and it had a lot of things for cooking. It was really hard for her to understand where the things are and where she should place the things she had used, or doesn't need. She made her self a light dinner, unlike her usual routine. The maids always prepared a grand meal for her. But now since she had to cook for herself, she doesn't need to make extra things.
She was sitting in the dinning table room, enjoying her dinner that she had made for herself. To her surprise, she realized that she was really good at cooking just like she was at fighting. She really enjoyed her dinner. Then suddenly she heard a chair move and she looked up to see Alex sitting Infront of her on the opposite side of the table. The dinning table was really big that 500 people can sit to have there dinner. She smiled at him. She was really happy that he remember his promise. She pushed her plate to his side and the plate slide towards him. He stopped it by his hand and looked at her.
" Would you like to try some." She said with a warm smile.
" You know that, I'm a demon. " Said Alex looking at her confused.
" I know... But Thomas told me that Demons can eat other food except humans...."
" True, but I don't want to eat. I'm not hungry." Said Alex with a smile.
" Come on! Just one bite.... You know, I made it myself."
" What really!... Okay... " He said, shocked and took few bites.
" Oh my! it's really good... It's my first time that I have ate human food." Said Alex.
" I'm happy you like it..... So let's talk about Thomas, now. "
" His backstory?..... " Asked Alex. _She came to the main topic quite quickly._ thought Alex, impressed.
" Yes... What else? " She said glaring at him, confused.
" Okay well I think it would be better if you asking Tom about it. He is more close friend of him, than I am. Even Demon King made Tom second High Rank Demon because of Thomas suggestion. "
" What! Tom. That idiot is the second high rank demon. " She said shocked.
" Do you know him?" He asked, surprised.
" Unfortunately..... " She said, looking unhappy.
" Good then, you can ask him instead. "
" No!... I want you to tell me. " She said with an angry glare.
" Okay fine!.... " Said Alex, as he can't see any way out of this situation.
" So where do I start from... Umm!...."
" From the beginning, obviously!" She said, leaning close with excitement. He sighed.
" ..... Okay! Let's start from beginning then, when Demon King became the ruler of Demons. He was very young at that time, hardly 12, perhaps. He created this mansion through his magic. We all obeyed his every command. During those days he met Thomas, who was the same age as him. They started having time together. And became friends... I think... I can't be sure if he is, really a friend to Demon King or not. Demon King doesn't seem like he care about anyone..... However, as time passed Thomas became stronger and stronger, he gained Demon King's trust. And that's how he became the first High Rank Demon." He said.
" That means Thomas and Demon king are together for a very long time.... "
" Yes... Now, I will like to ask your permission to leave.... And I hope that every thing we have discussed remain between us. " Said Alex and stood up from his chair and left.
" Yes, of course..." She said. After some while she stood up from her chair and decided to go up stairs to her room.
She entered the room and saw Demon King already present in the room. She went near the dressing table and untied her hairs. She had dark black long hairs, which were absolutely beautiful. Demon King kept staring at her while she was combing her hairs. She made a lose braid of her hairs and turned. She saw Demon King looking at her. She blushed. Demon King signal her with his hand taping on his bed to come and set beside him. Her face turned even more red. She gently walked close to his bed and sat Infront of him.
" I want to talk to you about something." He said. She looked at him in surprise. He was looking in the opposite direction but she realized that he was blushing.
_He is Looking so cute. I'm so in love with him.... But what does, he want to talk about? Has he made his decision to marry me. Or is he going to confess that he is in love with me.... Maybe I'm just overthinking._ She shock her thought off her mind and looked at him.
" Yes, what is it?" She asked, smiling.
" I know that you destroyed the library, not Thomas." Said the Demon King. She was shocked. Her face turned pale. She froze in her position. At that moment, for the first time she was really scared of Demon King.
" I didn't slapped Thomas because he destroyed the library. But I slapped him because he disobeyed me. " He said. His voice still.
" So was that it!... Was that all you want to tell me. " She asked looking at him, worried. He nodded, gently.
" Now you may go, and sleep. Also turn off the lights. " He said without looking at her.
" Y-Yes. " She said and stood from his bed.
_Does this mean he didn't mind I destroyed the library?..... Demon King loves me a lot. He slapped Thomas because he attacked me._ She thought, smiling. Her cheeks red, as she turned off the lights.
