The Cullens Home

It was later that day when Bella was brought to the house. Sebastian, Jasper, and the rest of the family waited in the living room for her to make her appearance. Bella slowly walked in, seeing her brother and Jasper came all the way from Alaska for something. Carlisle gestured for her to have a seat and waited until she was comfortable before speaking.

“Sebastian and Alice have had visions. What they’ve seen is cause for serious concern.” Carlisle started.
“What did you see, Seb?” Bella asked worriedly.
“Bella, your brother is still healing. It’s hard for him to speak verbally.” Carlisle admonished.
“Oh, could Edward tell me what Seb’s saying?” Bella asked hopefully.

Edward sighed, not wanting to communicate with Bella since she wasn’t his mate. Sebastian heard his internal monologue and felt his conflict. He sat up and gestured for Edward to relay what he wanted to say. Edward sighed again but nodded, and Sebastian started speaking.

“Sebastian says that something bad is going to happen soon after Bella’s graduation. He’s wondering if there’s anything suspicious that’s happened to confirm what he saw.” Edward voiced.
“Nothing too odd, Sebastian, I’m afraid. Why do you want to know?” Carlisle informed him.
“Because he wants to confirm what he saw before letting everyone know what might happen. His visions give him more details than Alice’s but the future can always change.” Edward explained for Sebastian.
“That’s understandable. Is there anything that you can tell us?” Esme asked.
“Sebastian’s already telling Alice, for the moment, there’s nothing we can do but stay on guard and watch out for anything.” Edward answered.
“So, that’s it? We’re just supposed to wait until something happens? What about me turning? Alice promised the Volturi that I’d be changed!” Bella exclaimed.

She was not happy that Edward broke up with her and that her opportunity to become immortal was slowly slipping away. Sebastian felt the increase in her frustration, and he let out a growl. Jasper and the rest of the family jumped at the low sound that reverberated through the house. Carlisle gestured for Emmett and Xavier to get their mates out of the living room and out of danger. Edward tried to calm Sebastian down by talking to him, but nothing was working. Carlisle was quick to get Esme out of dodge and close to the kitchen. Finally, a raspy, guttural voice was heard by everyone.

“Isabella Marie Swan. I’m getting tired of you thinking only about yourself and what you want. Get it into your thick skull that Edward doesn’t think of you like that anymore.” Sebastian growled out.
“Says the one who got turned into a vampire! You have the life I’ve always wanted! You get to be healthy and young forever! I deserve it just as much as you do!” Bella yelled.
“What part of terminal cancer do you not get? I was dying! It’s the only reason Carlisle turned me! You don’t get to sit there and say you deserve to be a vampire. YOU DON’T DESERVE SHIT!! Sebastian roared.

Bella flinched away from her brother, suddenly very frightened of him. Sebastian panted heavily, trying to calm himself. Jasper gently rubbed Sebastian’s back in soothing circles, feeling his muscles start to relax. Esme and Carlisle sighed with relief and moved back to where they were sitting. The other two couples came back from the deck and hesitantly sat back in their original places. Sebastian sighed while glaring at Bella, who was fighting in vain to hold back her tears. Jasper looked at Carlisle and shook his head, knowing that it would take a long time for Sebastian to fully calm down. Carlisle nodded and gestured for Bella to get up so he could take her home.

Once Bella had left, the mood in the house bettered, but only slightly. Sebastian was still fuming, and Jasper’s efforts to help calm him were in vain. Suddenly, Sebastian stood up and looked at Jasper gesturing for him to follow him outside. Once the couple left the house, Sebastian relaxed even more. Jasper noticed that there seemed to still be some tension in Sebastian’s shoulders, and his curiosity increased.

“Darlin? Are you okay?” Jasper hesitantly asked.
“No, I just can’t believe how selfish my sister is being. She is convinced that Edward is the only person who can give her what she wants.” Sebastian sighed.
“We’ll be okay, Darlin. Whatever happens in the future, we’ll be okay.” Jasper reassured.
“We’ll see.” Sebastian said cryptically.

A Week Before Graduation

Sebastian held his head in his hands as Alice squealed about having a party before graduation. He watched as she sped around getting the rest of the family to help put up decorations. He sighed in relief that she hadn’t involved him in the decorating process and was content to watch everyone else suffer. Unfortunately, Emmett noticed that he wasn’t doing anything.

“Hey! You don’t get to sit and watch Seb! Get your ass over here!” Emmett called.
“Oh! Seb, I didn’t realize I hadn’t given you a job! Can you help Jasper with the decorations in the basement?” Alice asked.

Sebastian perked up at the sound of helping Jasper, and before Emmett could complain, he sped down to the basement.

“You know that they’re gonna make out as soon as Seb gets down there, right?” Emmett said knowingly.
“Can you blame them, Emmett? They’re used to being by themselves and being affectionate with each other. At least they’re trying to be discreet.” Xavier piped up from where he was setting up some more chairs.
“Xavier has a point, Emmett, unlike you who can’t keep his hands to himself. They keep their affection to themselves” Rosalie added.
“But you like it when I don’t keep my hands to myself.” Emmett said with a smirk.

Rosalie huffed, trying not to show how she was flustered by her husband’s comment. Alice smiled at the thought of Sebastian and Jasper. They were a good match in her book. They balanced each other out and kept each other on their toes at the same time. She sighed, happy that the current moment was peaceful and content.

In the basement, Jasper was setting up some streamers over the windows and doorways. He then smirked as he felt Sebastian’s large hands wrap around his waist. He looked down to see his mate staring at him, with an adoring look. Jasper’s smirk widened into a smile as he slowly hopped off of the stool he was using. Sebastian then pulled him into a gentle embrace and sighed in contentment. The pair stood like that for a moment until Sebastian decided to take it a step further.

He moved one of his hands upwards until it rested gently on Jasper's cheek. Jasper looked up and into Sebastian's eyes and decided he was done waiting. Jasper then grabbed Sebastian's shirt and pulled him into a breathtaking kiss. Sebastian smiled into the kiss, enjoying Jasper’s touch. The kiss slowly got more passionate until Jasper realized Sebastian had placed him on top of a table and that Sebastian was shirtless. Hands moved in a flurry, caressing they could. Jasper felt his back arch as Sebastian placed a hand on his lower back and pulled him as close as he could. He decided to tease Sebastian by moving his hands lightly up Sebastian's bare torso, causing a slight shiver and a low growl to come from Sebastian.

Sebastian was done with the teasing and lightly bit Jasper's lower lip in retaliation. Jasper gasped at the sudden pain and stopped his movements. The pair continued to make out until a fake cough caught their attention. Jasper's eyes opened to look behind Sebastian's back and saw Xavier standing by the doorway, looking amused. Jasper lightly tapped Sebastian's shoulder to get him to refocus, Sebastian was too busy leaving love bites on Jasper’s neck to notice. Finally, Jasper smacked Sebastian's head to get him to focus.

“Darlin, we need to finish decoratin or Alice will have our heads.” Jasper reminded Sebastian.
“I'm busy. You taste devine, I can't get enough.” Sebastian said with a slight growl.
“You know how Alice gets Darlin. Come on. The faster we get it done, the faster we can get back to what we were doin.” Jasper encouraged him.

Sebastian let out a deep groan and finally pulled away from Jasper. He glared at Xavier since he interrupted a rather pleasant time for himself and Jasper. Xavier rolled his eyes, and then they widened at the sight of Jasper. Bruises and love bites littered Jasper’s neck and shoulders. He turned his gaze back to Sebastian, who had a smug expression on his face. Xavier sighed and simply said;

“You're both lucky it was me and not someone else.”

Jasper let out a groan as Sebatian picked his shirt from off the floor. Once the couple had recovered, mainly Jasper, they continued decorating. Soon, they were finished and got Alice's seal of approval. Then they decided to go for a quick hunt, then went to Jasper's old room for the rest of the night.
