4. The Reunion

As they continued chatting, the aroma of South Korean dinner dishes wafted through the air, prompting their stomachs to growl in unison. Jungkook, always the enthusiastic foodie, suggested, "Why don't we order some of our favorite dishes? A little taste of nostalgia."

Taehyung grinned, "Sounds like a plan! Let's get some bulgogi, bibimbap, and definitely some kimchi. What do you think, Yn?"

Jimin nodded eagerly, "Absolutely! And let's not forget the spicy rice cakes – they were always a favorite during our late-night study sessions."

Jungkook, with a glint of mischief, added, "And Jimin, you can't resist those chicken skewers, right?"

Jimin chuckled, "You know me too well. Chicken skewers it is!"

Jimin asked YN "and what else would you like to add my lady"

Yn chimed "don't you think that's already a lot to eat but I would like some soju"

Taehyung looked surprisingly at YN "You never drink, at least I have not seen you drinking what's up"

Yn smirks " You still need to learn a lot about me Mr. No talk all smiles" Jimin and Jungkook laugh.. while taehyung responded shyly "I may not talk much but I'm an observer. Also I do talk but it takes some time.

Jimin interrupt " oh you mean a lifetime for Yn, you just don't talk to girls. You look just fine otherwise. Even Yoona noona feels the same."

Jungkook declared for the waiting waiter " soju it is. Thanks you" yn chuckled at the scene

Curiosity sparkled in Yn's eyes as she listened to Jimin talk about Yoona she asks " how's Yoona Unni? It's been so long since I saw her"

"Jimin, tell me more about Yoona's work at Park Entertainment. "

Jimin shared, "Yoona's been leading the charge as an executive, exploring diverse projects. Aside from reality shows and period dramas, she's also delving into documentaries. It's a whirlwind, but she loves the challenge."

Yn's admiration shone in her eyes, "Wow, that's truly impressive. I've always known Yoona was destined for greatness."

Jungkook, with a subtle glance, found himself lost, his gaze lingering for a moment before Jimin playfully nudged him back into the conversation.

Sharing a fond memory, Yn reflected, "I always looked up to Yoona. The model student who excelled in academics and still led in extracurriculars. She once saved me from an accident and even took me to the hospital. I've always been grateful to her."

Taehyung added "Noona also used to teach us after school so that our grades would not drop, she even used to retain her notes for two years to pass them on to us"

Jimin grinned, promising, "I'll definitely pass on your kind words to Yoona. She'll be thrilled to know you hold her in such high regard." He added with a playful smirk, "Although, you were quite the tough act to follow in exams. We didn't get to copy much from you."

Yn mockingly complained, "You guys, copying from me and still scoring more? That's unfair!" Jungkook, with a mischievous glint in his eye, retorted, "Maybe you should've spent more time with us, learned the art of multitasking."

Taehyung chimed in, "Exactly! Balancing studies and having fun, that's the secret." Laughter filled the air as they continued teasing each other.

As they conversed, Jungkook's attention occasionally wandered, lost in a quiet observation of Yn. Jimin, noticing the distraction, teasingly remarked, "Jungkook, any thoughts you'd like to share with the class?"

Jungkook, sheepishly returning to the conversation, chuckled, "No, just enjoying the moment."

The dinner banter took a turn when talk shifted to life after school. How jimin joined media school in Japan but had to come back when his dad had a stroke. How Yoona had to take care of business without much training as jimin wouldn't have handled the chairman position that well.

Taehyung almost cried on remembering the memories of the time when jimin used to cry for days. That's when they missed Jungkook the most. Jungkook knew what his presence meant for the two.

Jimin holding himself strong passed the question to Jungkook "How was your time In London? And who were those 600 girls you posted pictures with every other day" he asked cheekily to change the mood.

"London was good. I wanted to learn more about international food cuisines. I wasn't always in London I used to go on trips around and learn native food recipes and that's where i found those random girls." Yn raised an eyebrow, and he quickly added, "Just for fun, of course."

When asked about liking someone special, Jungkook replied, "I haven't found someone as special as someone I once liked, so I'll keep looking."

Yn was not satisfied with the answer "looking for someone similar to someone you once liked ? It's like looking for roses without thorns. That's almost impossible.

Jungkook smiled "You shouldn't be comparing her with thorns. Now I'm hurt" he says with a hand on his heart as if he has been hit with a bullet.

Everyone laughed and YN agreed " ok I should have thought of another example. My bad "

Jimin, with a hint of mystery, shared, "There was a girl I liked, but I may not be her type."

Yn suggested " oh gosh . Our little Jimin is so thoughtful, even thinking from other people's perspective. You could have shown her you skills to impress her" Jimin almost lighting up...
She added "skills of falling from chairs "
Jimin couldn't stop but pout.

Jimin diverted the conversation towards taehyung.

Taehyung, the caring soul of the group, admitted, "I've started developing feelings for someone, but it might take some time to be reciprocated."

Yn, with a reassuring smile, said, "Taehyung, you're sweet and caring. Any girl would be lucky to have you."

The atmosphere, a blend of laughter, shared stories, and unspoken emotions, resonated with the warmth of friendships rekindled and the promise of new chapters yet to unfold.
