Jack Hyde
I was rudely awakened by the police officer arresting me to take me back to Seattle to be held for kidnapping Anastasia Steele, but they don't know that is who she is and I won't tell them that information. I tell them it was my dead girlfriend's daughter and nothing else. I hired an attorney and he told me they have the car that has the young girls DNA in the trunk and her blood. Detective Clark isn't going to stop until I tell him everything. They finally got the GPS information and found out that I drove to several towns. It was also indicating he was on the same street as the alley the girl was found in the alley. The homeless person gave us a time frame and it was close enough to pinpoint the time was consistent with Hyde's time he was there. He had me in the car and in the area and found my DNA on the clothing on Anastasia. It took them six months to find and arrest me. They couldn't get a positive ID from Anastasia so I guess she won't be testifying. The salesperson who bought the car was very thorough in his paperwork for buying the car from me. He took photos and made copies of everything including the death certificate and the documents giving me the rights to the car to do as I wished. So I sold them all. I didn't get a whole lot for them though.

Three months later and I am serving federal time for kidnapping the girl. Twenty years total for everything. I didn't know her real name and couldn't recall the town I grabbed her from.

We still haven't heard anything from the police about leads to finding Anastasia and two years and counting we have no idea what happened to her. I decide to go to the police department and take the missing persons reports along with photos of what Anastasia looked like then and what she might look like now. When I get there the police department was moved to a different building. They had a fire and all records were destroyed including the missing persons cases. I have them copy what I had and they try to look up everything on their system and the original reports came back closed saying she was found. I tell them she was not found and they show me a whole different child. The policeman calls his boss and shows him the mistake that was entered in the computer. I am just sick at this point and I give them my number and ask them to transfer the files to Seattle on how much they have and now I make calls. I don't know how I allowed this to go on and they had marked her as found and no other details were available. I tell them that she has never been found and they had her found in the system a month later, the same day we moved to Seattle.

I can't believe those police officers have not been looking for our daughter and it says in the files she was found and delivered to us. Ray thinks that they didn't give any real efforts into locating Anastasia. I hope they took it seriously but after the explosion and how hostile people were because of the company closing and everyone losing their jobs they might have thought it was done in revenge. Two years have passed and no sightings or anything else.

I have excelled in my education and I no longer have nightmares about being abused. I am actually being abused and I keep getting moved from foster homes. I am twelve now and attending high school with older, taller and more aggressive teens. I still train in self defense and now I am training other students. I still can't remember who I am and how I can't remember anything before being abused and I only see myself getting abused and now I see an old lady screaming at me.

My neighbors testified that they saw a girl trying to get out of the house when my mother died. They described her, but they had no idea she was being held hostage until they were questioned about anything odd going on and if they had seen her in my home. They described her and then identified the photo as being the girl they saw. She was doing before I arrived home and found my mother dead and she was trying to help her. She had no phones to call for help and she tried to get out to get help for my mother. I lost my temper and started beating her and she lost consciousness and I had to get rid of her before I called the coroner because she would tell them she was kidnapped by me. I just sat in the interrogation and said nothing and waited for the public defender. I ended up being taken for all the money from my mom's estate. I was just getting in a position to get it back when I was arrested. Now some attorney is trying to get my money back from the husband and wife grifter team.

I keep thinking that I hear a voice from my past life but how would I recall a voice. I walk into the bank and deposit my check and then turn around and run into my foster mother. Well the one I finally got free from. I am in a group home now and working going to college and emancipated. My principal helped me get my freedom and get my scholarships to go to college. I have enough money to buy a good used car at this point, but I need to learn to drive. I have my learners permit, I just need to see if I can borrow a car to pass the test. The teachers have been trying to teach me how to drive. I have a fear of the trunks though. Something about them takes me back to being abused. My psychologist said that I should have people I trust with me and open and close the trunk until the fear disappears. I avoid talking to the foster mother because she tried taking my money away from me and I called the police on her. She gave it all back to prevent from being arrested. I go out and see a tall man looking at me and I feel sad because I know his eyes and they are familiar to me. He walks up to me and says we have been looking for you since you disappeared.

I saw her and I thought I was imagining things and called her name and she faltered and looked around but she could see me in the crowds. I then it was Anastasia and she looked so mature. I decided to wait for her outside the bank. I pull out the photos from my wallet and the aged ones from my iPhone. She sees me an I see the sadness in her eyes. I tell her we have been looking for her since she disappeared. I show her the photos of her back then and then the aged ones. She has to get registered for her classes and I offer her a ride and she is very hesitant about taking a ride at first, but I hand her my phone and tell her she can dial 911 if she wishes at any time. I show her the missing persons report and the posters we have put on line and we had no idea she was in Seattle, we thought someone still had her in the town she was born in.
