Goodbye Daisy

Mia
The funeral was delayed until I was released from the hospital. The tumor was benign and they got all of it. Unfortunately Daisy died before they could get to her. There was nothing they could have done differently. Mom helped me understand that the tumor was preventing Daisy from being born and they couldn't have known that she was there because the ultrasound barely saw much because the tumor was blocking the views of the babies. They heard multiple heartbeats, but unfortunately I went into labor before my planned c section and the babies were arriving pretty fast and very painfully.

Denny
Mom has been very controlling about the funeral. I finally told her that Mia and I would make the arrangements for Daisy. Mia decided what she wanted for our baby girl. Little did we know a young teenage girl had just gave birth to a daughter and heard our story and contacted my father in law who approached me about giving the baby girl a home and adopt the child. I at first thought it wouldn't be a good idea because we still need to grieve our daughter. He told me to look at it as giving another innocent baby a great home to live in and be loved by someone who wants them. We both spoke to Mia and she finally agreed to adopting the child. We named the girl Ingrid Grace, the young girls name was Ingrid and we liked Grace for the middle name. Mom was a bit upset because she hoped we would name her Remy. We had a lot of people putting in the nurseries and everything we would need for the babies. Mannies and Nannie's were already and waiting for our arrival home.

Remy
I watch as Daisy is lowered into the small grave and the dirt is placed over her casket. I am not alone in my crying for this tiny soul. Mia broke down and had to be taken away by her parents, Denny followed them and soon the headstone was placed with her date of birth and death on it. A baby with halo and wings and holding a daisy was engraved into the headstone. A heart shaped headstone standing all alone looking out on the bay. It said you were loved very much.

Emilio
I hold Remy as we leave the graveyard and head to see our other grandchildren. Denny opens the door for us to enter their home. It looks like everyone is here. We try to keep a stronghold on our tears. It is just too much to bear so we go find our three grand babies and find there are four. Ingrid Grace Villanueva was born the same day as Daisy and her siblings and the teenage mother heard about Daisy dying and approached Carrick and they set it all up after a long discussion. The little girl is a lot bigger than the other three babies. Remy looked at the name and said why didn't they name her Remy? We picked up each of the babies and gave them hugs and kisses. Ingrid really like Remy and she liked Ingrid.

Mia
At first it took me some effort to pick up Ingrid but I did it. Denny made me sit down after that and handed the babies to me one at a time. The babies were given all kinds of attention. Christina and Dimitri were both flabbergasted when they saw the four babies. They didn't know which one to touch first. So I had them come and sit by me as I held them and fed the babies one at a time. They loved their little fingers and feet. I explained that they were small like them at one point as well. Both will be getting siblings soon enough. Dimitri and Christina both know they will have siblings, but they apparently thought they would be able to play with them right away.After seeing the babies they found out that they wouldn't be able to play with them right away.

Anastasia
I am finally over the morning sickness, but smells still bother me. I have held all the babies and children today. I just hope I have the patience for my own child that I have for other children. Christian has dealt with my temper and I have dealt with his temper as well. We have finally calmed down after we discovered my pregnancy. Kate is definitely getting ready to pop any day now. Elliott is keeping a close eye on her after Daisy died he is afraid that might happen to their child or Kate. Grace told him that was a one in million, well close to a million chance of it happening. They are being proactive like Christian is with our pregnancy as he calls it. He isn't suffering the pregnancy that I am and I have reminded him of that fact every time he calls it our pregnancy.

Christian
I can't believe how moody pregnant women get u til Anastasia reminds me that if I say our pregnancy one more time she is going into labor at three am and making sure she screams out in agony around the time I am sound asleep. Of course she can't plan her labor out, well I hope she can't, not if it means I will be awakened to screams at 3 am. Mom told me that if women could do that all babies would be born during business hours at the hospital and the labor and delivery rooms would filled to capacity every day.

Grace
Ingrid is three pounds heavier than her brothers and two inches taller than them. Delta is half her size in weight and length. We get photos of everyone together and then all the grandchildren. We then get group photos and then all of us together. Isabel finally got here after a long shift. Carl has a new girlfriend, I don't think Ray and Carla like her. I then figured out why when I noticed her following Christian around. Anastasia put a stop to it easily. She told her to leave Christian alone or lose her job. Apparently she works at GEH and met Carl accidentally, more like intentionally if you ask me. She apparently heard he was arriving to have lunch with Anastasia and she started a conversation with him knowing exactly who he was.
