Solange's POV

'Well fuck me then I guess', I thought as I watched my mother basically ignore me when she ran out of the house.

Now, I'm not really sure what's happening because it was too early in the morning when she called so I was still half asleep, but I guess she had to go to the hospital and Bey couldn't pick up the kids. Damn, that trick is always having sex, but hey, who am I to judge. I'm glad at least one of us gets constantly laid. I started calling her just for the fun of it. I mean it wouldn't be the first time she answers while getting her cherry turned out or something. She sometimes even accepts my FaceTime calls...just nasty. I don't even want to think about it. Since it's still early in the morning I went up to Blue's room, because it would feel nice to cuddle with somebody. As soon as my body hit the bed I was already out like a light.

I was having such a great dream of me and DeVaughn Nixon when I heard giggling. I opened one eye and saw all my sister's kids on the bed just looking at me and laughing. I looked over at the clock and it read 9 am. I groaned but sat up as I rubbed my eyes. I looked at all of them and gave them my best kisses that I always save to give out for my nieces and nephew.

"I missed y'all so much. How are you guys?" I asked as I gathered them all in my arms.

"Auntie, you just saw us like 3 days ago, you couldn't possibly miss us this much." Blue said as she tried to wiggle out of my arms.

"I see how it is Bluebear. You don't even love me anymore." I fake cried and pulled the twins closer to me. "It's okay, I still have my favorite niece and nephew to spoil. Come on you guys we don't need your sister and her negative energy around." I scooped them up under my arms and raced down the steps.

Mom is still not home, which is kind of weird, but I'm sure she would have already called if there was a problem. I'm in a good mood so I'm gonna make some breakfast for the kids. Nothing special just some eggs, bacon, and toast. As they ate, I called Kelly so she could come over and we could babysit together. In just an hour, she was already bursting into the kitchen loud as ever.

"Hey sis!" I said as I gave her a hug.

"Hey Solo! What's up? Why are we stuck with 3 children?"

"You know how Bey can get. She's probably in a coma the way Shawn blows her back out." We both laughed.

"You're right, but where is Mama? They didn't ask us. They asked her."

"She called me over around 2 am because she had to rush into the hospital."

"Oh my God! What happened? Is everybody alright?"

"I don't know anything. I'm sure if it was something serious, she would have called."

"Solaaaange" She dragged my name. "It's almost 11, if it was nothing serious, she would be home by now." Well, that actually makes sense.

"I'm gonna call her now, okay?" I said as I reached for my phone. Just as I was about to call her, she walked through the door. She seemed like she was out of it.

"Hey Momma, is everything okay?" Kelly asked as soon as she saw the expression on her face. When she heard our voices, she finally got out of her trance or whatever she was in.

"Oh, hey my babies." She said not as cheerfully as she usually would. "Look, we can talk after I take a shower. We just gotta make sure the kids are not around, so maybe put a movie on for them." She said as she went towards her room. Something is definitely wrong because she never allows the kids to watch movies except when it's a movie night.
