Shawn's POV

She woke up.

My wife is alive.

The love of my life is back and alive.

I looked to my left where Mama T and my mom were hugging each other, happy tears filling both their eyes.

I looked towards Solo and Kells, who both seemed to be shocked, but definitely the happiest I've ever seen them.

I then looked to my right, where all three of my children were dancing around, crying as well.

I was just standing in the middle of them all, trying to get back to the ground because I was at least a hundred feet above.

Michelle's voice finally found its way to my brain.

"I'm extremely happy for you guys. This is really the miracle of the century, but we also gotta discuss some things." She said and everybody settled down a bit, giving her our undivided attention.

"Go ahead Chelle. I'm sure it can't be worse than what we had to deal with in the past 7 years." I said as I prepared for whatever at this point.

"My team is still running some tests on her as we speak just to make sure that everything is alright. There are a few things that I already noticed, but with time and lots of hard work, they can be fixed. I'm sure that y'all already guessed that she will need physical therapy. She'll need to rebuild her muscles because they kinda disappeared due to the lack of movement. We'll discuss this further when she's present as well." Okay, that's not that bad. She has a great support system who can help her through this journey.

"Another obstacle could be that, based only on what I saw, is the inability to speak or form the words. As I looked into her eyes, I saw her thinking them and you can also see that she could write, even if it's not as organized as before, but when she tried to speak, she couldn't make any sound. She'll have to take speech therapy as well. I'm not sure how long it's gonna take, but we should concentrate on one step at a time." I'm not gonna lie that sucks more than the physical part. The kids were not happy either. I mean they couldn't hear their mother's voice in such a long time, and now that she's awake, they still won't be able to for who knows how long.

I brought them closer to me and rubbed their backs to comfort them a little.

"Hey guys, I know it sucks, but we gotta be thankful for whatever we got. It's not gonna be a forever thing, but at least your mother is back and that's what really matters." I told them and they calmed down a bit. I kept them in my embrace and told Michelle to continue.

"Speaking of that note. I'm not sure if she has any kind of memory loss. It seems to me that she remembers the main things, like being married and having children. I assume she feels like less time passed, but still senses that it was longer than a couple of weeks or months. As you can see, she added one year to both her age and the current date."

I hope those tests come back clear and she does remember her life and everybody important in it. The little moments, our first kiss or first date. I'd be devastated if the best parts of our lives would only live in my head from now on.

"That's all I can tell you right now. Shawn, it's probably best if you go in first. She doesn't really know all the changes that happened. The kids growing so much, all the years that have passed, and so on. I need you to break it down to her slowly, so it won't shock her all at once. We don't want to take any risks and accidentally trigger her or set her off." We all nodded.

"I mean it's understandable. I'd probably have a heart failure or something if I was in her shoes. When can I see her?" I asked getting excited. I don't think I was ever this happy. Not on our wedding, or when our children were born. Maybe when she finally let me hit it the first ti-
