Everything had been weird in my family since I found out what was going on. I almost never was at the house and neither was my dad.
The homecoming game was coming up so I spent my time taking my anger out on a football.
"Julia you're gonna ruin that ball." Mark told me as I viciously threw it at the wall.
"So?" I said.
"So... Do you want to mess you ball up?"
"I guess not." I sulked.
"Is something wrong?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
I shook my head.
"Just having a rough day."
He nodded.Right then THE DEVIL walked on the field.
And no, it wasn't Heather.
It was worse.
Oh joy.
"What do you want?" I asked picking up the ball and throwing it at a wall.
"You know, beating up your football won't make you any better. Then again nothing will."
"Go die." I said throwing the football at his face this time.
"Ouch!" He yelled and cupped his nose with both hands.
"Serves you right." I said giving my bitchiest smile.
He rolled his eyes.
"What's wrong with you today sweetheart?"
"I know your obsessed with me, but that's my business and not yours."
"Give it up sweetie. You know you want me."
"Seeing your face, all I want to do is run to the toilet and barf up my hotdog from lunch."
"You can have my hotdo-"
Before he could finish that horrible, horrible sentence, I threw the football back at his face.
"Seriously?!" He yelled as I walked away.
Assface.

Catie and Mark decided to take me out to lunch since I'd been feeling so down lately.
"Really. Are you okay?" Mark asked, looking concerned.
"Yeah I'm fine." I said, looking at the floor.
"You can tell us anything." Catie smiled.
"Seriously, and I don't want to make you feel forced to say anything, but if you have something you want us to hear, you can tell us." Mark added putting his hand on my arm.
I gently brushed it off.
"Thanks, but I'm ok."
"So how's football going?" Catie asked Mark, changing the subject.
Mark ignored her and turned to me, "So are you trying out for football next year?"
What the heck.
Did Mark just ignore her?
Were they in a fight?"Uh.. Uh ok I guess." I stuttered, still shocked.
Catie looked upset.
"Did you ask a question?" I asked her, trying to get them to talk.
She just shook her head.
